I think we all want to see minotaur knights of the Holy Minotaur Empire and minotaur wizards of the Minotaur Cities.  Not to mention Dungeon's culture, I so look forward to learning more about minotaur queens. 
Quite honestly, Minion's post was most likely a joke. This just wouldn't work right with minos and like I said, minotaurs already are equals with dark elves, just like medusae. Centauri and harpies aren't dominant in Stronghold, so I see no reason for minotaurs to be.

of course it was a joke, made me curious though. kinda want to see it
minotaurs are not equal to dark elves. whenever we get anything on dungeon it's all dark elves this, dark elves that. the only times minos (and medusae) are mentioned it's always in their own bios, never in actual texts about dungeon. some mentions, sure, but these always make it clear that dungeon are for dark elves exclusively.
that said, i'd be ok (though reluctantly) with a dark elf dungeon if minos (and medusae) were actually equal like they're supposed to be. Ubi just need to show that with plenty of minos and medusae as heroes and in fluff-text and the like. make dungeon home for all, not just DE's with some mino soldiers. a mixed dungeon i can get behind as the best plausible dungeon under Ubi. but at the moment they're hardly equal. maybe next game/expansion though. that'd be nice.

I like minotaurs and madusae the way they currently are in the lore, but when it comes to fleshing them out somehow, making them more noticable, this is where I can agree with you. At least one hero for both minotaurs and medusae would be pretty cool indeed.

Their Heroes V history was retconned and admittedly, given minotaurs' loyalty to dark elves, I actually think this does make more sense - they are courageous warriors, not obedient dogs who would ignore humiliation. I also like the fact that in the current canon, they continued to serve dark elves after being granted their freedom - I imagine that when rewarded properly and respected, they don't even mind labour, as their strength is something important, especially when raising cities.

that part was...adjusted to make only the Soulscars (iirc) enslaving them, but they were slave nonetheless.
