i do not meet the system requirements... BUT! game runs with ALMOST SAME fps with high visuals & low visiuals. hows that even possible? i see no good reason to run it on low since it makes no noticable differance at all.
is this means, after a possible update, minimum requirement will go lower?
and btw, high graphics doesnt really look good, lightning seems incorrect, i noticed some adventure buildings were covered with thick shadow, and same goes for the sunlight covered faces. do you guys agree with me, that lightning is wrong and contrast is too much?
btw i think starsilver needs to be recolored because it seems too much like ore.

Here's a laugh. Tried the medium-size 8-player map. AI turn times:
Turn 2-3: 4 minutes 50 seconds.
Turn 3-4: 4 minutes 55 seconds.
Turn 4-5: 3 minutes 40 seconds.
Game crashed on turn 5.
Really?

Ok, here's a double-laugh. I decided to verify game integrity due to many crashes, and it said it needed to download some files because they were corrupt. Now I get this message when trying to start the game:
SERIOUSLY!?

There are some greater issues in this game than renamed rare resources and 4 heroes in Hall of Heroes.

I'm starting to love warmachine specialists (ones that get 2 skills towards warmachine tree). Used both dungeon and academy one and creeping was way easier than i remember.

it looks to me that your antivirus did some intrusion in the file and this beta is obviously more protected than usual.

Meh. If the starting armies become an issue, you can always set to increase the hero recruiting cost after each hired hero by 250 gold or something like that. Make it so fattening your initial numbers through hero armies becomes cost-inefficient.
H5 did it with 500 and sometimes it felt too much for me, but it is an elegant solution nonetheless. Better than that arbitrary restriction.

Being as I don't have any antivirus installed (long story) obviously that's not the case. I think game is just generally snowed-up.

Sooo finally got around to playing the beta today and I must say I am rather disappointed. The game runs poorly, units slide around like idiots, the resources are indistinct and muddy. The gameplay feels like I am playing a less polished Heroes 6(which was unpolished as it was). Overall I am not that hopeful for it given how close it is to release. Perhaps I will load it up again later and change my mind but given how it took 25 minutes to load that seems unlikely.

Soo. time for some basic feedback
On the Plus side
+ New magic system: Not perfect but way better, we are now not limited to 29 spells, what changes is their usefullness
+ Map based boost overweiv and duratation display. I like how bonuses now work for a set number of battles, rather then just one or a Week, and that you can see all active bonuses i your hero's overweiv.
+ Map objects: Nothing new here but atleast lots of things are back, there is enoght of them to give the map some variaty.
++ a lot of H6 copies were replaced with new models,
Few nit-picks
- A lot of tooltips are broaken, but this is something one has to expect in a Beta
- Donšt show to much!
Why do we see the numbers and stacks of neutral units. why do we see potential loot and spells in map objects? Why is there number scale instead of text when looking at neutral stacks?
- (local nit-pick) translations are sometimes wierdly bad, incoherent with the past, and feel very wierd on the tongue.

People got very picky after Heroes VI. Overall, this beta gives some hope that Heroes VII won't be quite functional at the release. I hold my fingers crossed.

H6 may have been poorly polished but H7 feels like it has none at least for the time I played it...but it is a beta so it will be better at release(I hope). Worth mentioning if the map editor is good I could probably forgive H7 most if not all of its shortcomings.

we need a counter info for metamagic stacks. since it empowers spells at certain numbers, we should be able to track the number to make a tactic.
