It'll be even closer than last time, but I think Trump will serve another term. The elections themselves might not be entirely fair though since all of America will be voting by post and all sorts of mishaps and fraud are bound to occur.

From a foreign perspective, I feel like Trump will not get reelected. However, as messy as things seem to be nowadays, a similar situation is present in my country, and I don't know what will become when elections came. So, it might be a close result there.
But extreme left wing here is not likely to grab power again, at least not as much as before. Still, extreme right is not fit either.

At least extreme right wing will not force you to castrate your son, amongst other things.

Stevie said: I think Trump has a very real shot at getting reelected, despite the media trying to paint a different picture.
He does have a chance, but it's more due to the pandemic causing problems than any qualifications or public sentiment. Poling places are just not going to open, making the voter suppression that's been in the USA already much more keenly felt. Add onto that the absolute gutting of the US postal service by the administration, and people who are planning to vote Democrat this election cycle being more likely to do mail-in voting while the Republican voter block is becoming less likely to vote mail-in, and...
Well, a popular vote doesn't matter much if you manipulate enough variables. Or if you have an Electoral college system that rewards winning specific states and ignoring 3/4 of the country. How I wish we had ranked poll choices. And more than two entrenched parties that basically stand for two different flavors of corporate greed.

As of right now, Biden is comfortably ahead in almost every swing state and within the margin of error in several traditionally red states. That could easily change when he inevitably faceplants in the debates, but as of the time I'm writing this Biden is the clear favorite.

My biggest concern is how my country will be affected by the new president.
In Serbia, during the 2016 election, Trump was hailed as a friend of our nation. That was just because he was running against Hilary Clinton. Clintons, are not liked here, as you might have concluded from Bill's actions towards us during the 90's. Thing is, we adopted the "Enemy of my enemy is my friend" stance towards Trump. We can only speculate what Hilary would've done in Trump's place, but I was very skeptical of any good coming out of it.
On the other hand, I have no idea what to make of Biden. He's senile. He could drop dead any moment. The democrats might be using him as a tool to grab the power in the country. I wouldn't be surprised to see his VP taking his place down the road if he wins the election. If he can keep the country stable, more power to him. Being one of the big players on the world stage means that whatever happens in the US, will have a direct effect on the rest of us. So far, a stable US is what would benefit us the most.
In conclusion, whatever happens, it won't be pretty for y'all. It won't be pretty for us, either. But at least we'll have a show to watch as the losing party screeches against the winners. I would like to see a fresh face, someone who isn't prone to spouting stupid comments, who has a clean record and can finish a sentence. Too bad that's too much to ask for from the US.

Neither extremes are good. Never will be. The worst of each side is in the eye of the beholder. Here we have a difficult time telling appart what's fake and what's not because the Press of the mass is totally left winged, milking from that State.
Under left wing we were turning into a fat State, and their voters were loving it. Living of social assistance as if it was a good thing (I cannot help but conclude people are simply lazy), depending on the state more and more, taxes getting bigger and bigger. I really feel bad when I start to describe how messed up things are and were getting; even more that a lot of people supported that. Politics are getting ever more extreme, even in small nuances, as everyone is able to have their own voice through easy access to social communities.
And the quantity of hypocrite people gathered here can bend space. Cursing capitalism on Facebook, but posting from their lastest iPhone, while eating McDonald's and wearing Calvin Klein. Artists now declaring they got malaria, so not to declare that they got covid-19 and that's the reason they are taking cloroquine. And the list goes on and on.
But for what it's worth, this country needed a counter-extreme government to come. Needed a shock of sorts. Maybe it can prune most of the canquer before getting a little better.
NoobX said: My biggest concern is how my country will be affected by the new president.
Oh, yes, there's that. Bolsonaro is a big supporter of Trump. I don't know what will become of the relationship of Brazil and USA if the latter doesn't get elected.

The thing about the United States is that "extreme left" here is just Nordic social democracy. Our political spectrum is so far to the right that "corporations are people" is something that "moderates" say (Mitt Romney said that in his 2012 election) and "everyone should have healthcare" is something "extremists" say. We're in a really weird place right now where the Overton Window is shifting in both directions at once, so the mainstream spectrum is no longer liberal to neocon but social democrat to neofascist.
Regardless, both Trump and Biden are climate change deniers so the entire world is pretty much screwed. We had a good run folks.

Probably Biden, but Trump does have a chance.
It's just a matter of A) where the US is with the pandemic 2-3 months from now and B) if Biden can survive the debates without having a hundred senior moments. He's probably taking nootropics to help him.

Considering that the Republicans currently control the executive branch of the federal government and the majority of state governments, how exactly will "leftists" manage that?

The "Other" option should be added. Donald Trump is 74 and looks unfit. Joe Biden will be 78 end of this year and looks unfit. It's not even necessary that any one of them dies until November (or probably even later), a serious health condition would suffice to rule them out.
I think, there is a good probability that one of them or even both will not make it healthy enough through to election day (and it would be interesting to see what would happen if the elected president would have some kind of breakdown after the election but before inauguration.
