yes, japan played quite well; but it's shame that Nakata can't get that beautiful long shot in, and a penalty wasn't given to the Russian for the foul committed by Toda (let's just blame it on luck ).
I'm not so sure if Belgium will top the group now, though. From what I see, at this point of time, Japan stands a better chance - we'll see how Belgium fare against Tunisia.
My prediction for today will be,
Korea vs US - 1-1 draw
belgium vs tunisia - 2-1 (belgium wins)
protugal vs poland - 3-1 (portugal wins, poland scored due to defenders'/goalkeeper's fault )
Sir_Stiven : I've just made the prediction for fun (self satisfaction?), hope you won't mind. You're lucky I didn't make it on time to join your game. (btw, it's a good idea and a nice little game of yours. i hope W-cup does bring people together.)

Turkey vs Costa Rica
Turkey was the worst team since the beginning of the tournament. No defense, no midfield, no offense... in sum no football...
Ppl must be thinking how the heck Turkey qualified.
Senol Gunes must die... and that wooden stick of Hakan Sukur must retire from football... Turkey has good strikers, far better than Sukur

Sir Stiven...Sorry to say this but...
Quote: Just finished updating, i must say i was suprised about all the people that didnt manage to get any points at all today. And im feeling lonely at the top...
It's mainly because...
People made their predictions before the whole tournament started and now people notice which teams are better and which are worse than earlier...
I think if you would have made all your assumptions before the tournament started the situation could be different...
I'm not saying you wouldn't be on top then
So there.

No we HAVE to win against Russia, and hoping that Japan-Tunisia is either a draw or gain for Tunisia to become group leader...

Well SubZero, as you might have seen many ppl has done it the same way i have. And i clearly stated in my example post that you dont have too pick all games at one time. But if ppl does that anyway im not to blame am i? Not to post all games at once can have it good sides too, if your not posting every day you can miss some games and therefor lose some points.
What i am trying to say is, everyone was free to do as i am. And if they decided not too thats up to them. If the winner have done like i have i dont think he should feel less proud over his win because some ppl didnt make the best of their possibility. So there.
Ill update scoreboard in a few, just back from football game so im kinda tired...

Wow, France needs a win with at least 2 scores net to qualify but they loss by 0:2 !!! Champion last time now can't even make one goal. They must have used ALL in last WC & Euro Cup
China loses to Brazil as I expect and some of my friends even make some $$$ from betting on this match. We will come back next WC !!!
Now my prediction about champion & golden boot MUST be wrong this time.
