It seems California will not be the first state to legalise same sex marriages after all...
Incredible how Equality activists helped the governer to get in and he turned his back on them. Shows what the republicans are all about...

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said he will veto a bill that would allow gay marriages in California.
In pledging to terminate the bill, Schwarzenegger says he's honouring the wishes of California voters.
Schwarzenegger said the legislation, given final approval Tuesday by lawmakers, would conflict with the intent of voters. Five years ago, Californians voted against California recognizing same-sex marriages performed out of the state.
Proposition 22 stated that "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."
Gay rights advocates were upset with Schwarzenegger because they helped him in his campaign to become governor in 2003. "Clearly he's pandering to an extreme right wing, which was not how he got elected," said Geoff Kors, executive director of Equality California. "He got elected with record numbers of lesbian and gay voters who had not previously voted for a Republican, and he sold us out."
Democrats admitted that the bill was largely a symbolic gesture. They said they did not expect support from Schwarzenegger.
While accepting gay marriage, Schwarzenegger says it's an issue that should be decided by voters or the courts.
The bill would have made California the first state to legalize same-sex marriage through law.
Gay marriages are recognized in Massachusetts but that state's position came through a court ruling.
Of course, when the bill is sent back to the governemnt and if the bill is again passed by two-thirds of the members present, it will be considered overridden and will becomes law. (I think?)

anyway what i want to ask is:
I know there are many refferences in the bible sayin same gender sex is wrong, BUT i'd like to know if anywhere it says that:
you can't have a "more than friends" relationship with other members of the same gender
you can't kiss another member of the same sex
you can't love another member of the same sex as if they were your husband/wife
you can't THINK about having sex with another member of the same sex
so far i've only read things about gay intercourse being wrong, and not every relationship is about sex, what about the relationships just about love, and romance.
(btw i'm not saying there isnt anything about it i'm just asking if there is. sorry if this has been said before)

Anyways I was saying that the bible to me seems it has alot of contridictions.
You have to remember that people like us wrote it,so ya if they say that if we like the same sex then to hell we go.
Well as it seems almost half the population has some kind of how can i say CURIOSITY with the same sex.
So why not condenm all of us who even looked at the same sex BOOTAY.
