Quote: They have Nukes.
I want to say something about this.
The nuclear reactor of Israel is not something that we usually talk about. It's a kind of a thing which people avoid from mentioning, although everybody knows about it. A several months ago, even the Israeli prime minister talked about it. But the awful truth is that I don't know if Israel was existent without it.
We will probably never use this terrible weapon. 99% that it's going to be there, and the red button will never be pressed. But we need to have that red button. We need them to know we have a red button that we can press on. We will probably never do that, but we can.
I know it's hard to understand, and many say that Israel doesn't need it. That the fact that Israel has a thing like this is dangerous, and it's against what Israel says about Iran, that it shouldn't have that. I can fulfill 10 pages with arguments against the nuclear technology that Israel has.
The point is, and the reason we have it, is that is a great threat for our enemies (and believe me - we have plenty of these). Israel has to be deterring as possible, or Israel will be gone.
What's better, being here with something that the national community doesn't like, or not being here at all? What chance do we have to survive if the enemy is not afraid of us? If 10 arabian armies attack us together, they can crush us. But they won't do that. Why? Becuase we are threatening. Because they are afraid.
Anything the national community says is not going to change the fact that we are keeping this frightening weapon. International pressure is not going to change things either. We want to be here and we want to live, more than we want the world to like us and what we do.
