Hmm . . .
Perhaps the Qp (or lack thereof) in question might need clarification within the guarded confines of the ModSquad headquarters. The matter should probably come to a vote according to what Valeriy declares allowable.
I was thinking that the discussion might follow some general guidelines such as:
1. Is the Qp for a specific post, a specific thread, or for a larger category encompassing several different or similar threads and posts?
2. Is the Qp for a body of work or is it for a compilation of posts that are in different threads that all the judges might agree are linked in some way?
You see . . . some say that Qp's should be awarded for a single post. I have heard others say that they should be awarded a single Qp star for an entire thread. I have also heard some say that a poster is generally awarded qp's when he/she posts anything that is related to comedy. (this might be described as a 'reputation')
What ever the case may be, I'm sure Valeriy has made it clear to his lieutenants(moderators) what he expects from each of them. In fact, it is also possible that the incorrect moderator is being approached for the Qp (or lack thereof) in question.

alright then,
I have no problems awarding a QP to a member with so much support to that member.
I initially thought giving a QP to Gootch again would be going overboard, but clearly not. I also thought that I should QP Gootch, but I take what others might feel into consideration before I act. In this case, I wasn't expecting so much support. In fact, I thought I'd get a negative reaction to another QP for Gootchman.
It seems I was wrong again! - and frankly, I could'nt care less. 
And let me just say that I am not the only mod here, there are 2 more mods who take care of Other Side. So it's not just me that is implicated here, and it's not just up to me to give QP's here either. So please be careful with the finger pointing only because I was the one who responded.

So a long while has passed, I was away and since returning I see that I am the only mod here ~ wha?? So I decided to read through everything, and once again happened on the Gootch's story.
The whole QP or not QP censor or not censor debate has never sat well with me, and after rereading the story (and discovering that I am the only one who can take the hit for bad modding in the Other Side ) I decided to reverse the penalty and it is now the QP it should be.
I didn't do it because of peer pressure or anything like that, I did it because it's just an awesome piece of writing and it deserves it.

It has been very hot here, 115.
Gootch has a small case of writers block and I can’t get him out of it.
His thoughts are stuck in neutral.

Ruby was an exceptional poster, a charismatic personality, imaginative young woman, a witty friend, and good hearted person. I know absolutely nothing of the circumstances regarding erasing her entire body of work here at Heroes Community. But neither am I completely stupid, likely to have been born yesterday. I am a parent and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what has happened. There is only one reason why Valeriy would agree to such an action. I consider myself a reasonable fellow, husband, and parent of 3 wonderful children. For every person of good judgment and character there is an equal amount of people who are philosphically ignorant, closed minded, and downright borderline criminal. If that isn't a big enough problem in and of itself . . . many of said individuals have somehow found a way to cast their set of incomprehensible dictates to those unfortunate persons without the capabilty or wherewithal to fight back or leave. I am . . . of course . . . talking about parents who think the internet is the devil's work.
Don't even get me started on a few of my neighbors.
For what it's worth . . . to whom ever should read this anonymously or otherwise . . . I will not forget her nor the way she made so many people feel while she was here. Let them delete as many posts as they like; for they will never remove her from my heart and mind. That's where she'll stay; perfectly safe from ignorant religious fanatics! She was a good person who didn't deserve such treatment. And all though it may seem they've gotten their way with her at the moment . . . I will never fear. In all of this, I do still find solace in the belief that freedom is eternal. No person can be held in captivity forever. Someday she may break free and find her way back to us. I will hope and wait with forward-looking thoughts. People like her simply can't be bottled up and stored in a box.

What can you do though.
Your living under your parents roof & underage you have to follow the rules.
Nothing you can do about it or runaway etc.
Just got to hope she is ok & well see her when she comes back.
No one said your stupid but I think a simple comment was only needed about how you felt about her.
We all have it hard, some deal with it differently.
Like we all have stress, we just learn to deal with it.
SHes young & strong, I wouldnt worry about her.
Regardless she is still a kid with good talent.

Gave a QP to dkolb in the US President 2008 thread. Reading through it and the quality of his posting I found it surprising the lack or Red Stars in his profile so I awarded one.

I think that VF has been expressing some really good, and thought provoking discussion, especially in Other Side, and I would like to see her awarded with some QP's, that she really deserves.

I changed, I realized that I was pretty harsh to people before, and decided to give people second chances.
I wanted to change my ways, and make myself a better poster here, and make myself a better person in real life, and part of that is treating people with respect, and treating people nicely.
