I don't know about Leo or Silver, but I've found it difficult to come up with Contest Ideas right on the spot. And the ideas that the regular members have had, such as Gorman and his love letter, were very good imo.
So I was thinking it would be nice if some of the players might post some contest ideas to help out. Often times I've sent ideas that were decent to Leo, and he has then elaborated on them usually improving them.

There have been tons of writing contests, but only one drawing contest. Why not have a bit more of the latter for a change?

It's difficult to come up with drawing contests ideas as I usually try to make contest ideas that incorporate humor.

That's a good point Woock, if people aren't willing to make pics from scratch, I guess we could allow for altered pics or something like that. Thanks for the good feedback!

Oh yes I believe that the quality of both contests and entries is improving at an exceptional rate perhaps we will see a few red star in the contest entries thread..
And conan this is your first contest creation right? Really good!! Bravo let's hope that gorman will send an entry too.
Ah and one more thing if any CC (Contest Creator) has problems to creat a contest he/she can think of something that has to do with the thread. Of course this is optional but can really help!Leo has done this and Conan too!So why won't you if you get to create acontest!

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I am really glad to see the quality of Contest entries going up, as well. It's also cool to be able to take a break from the Contests and simply claim an unowned Thread, from time-to-time...So, together, these 2 options make for a great GAME that is fun & versatile.
Please remember...If you don't Copy & Paste your entries in the *MYT (05)* Contest Entries Thread, you are not even giving yourself a chance for a +QP reward.

But copy-pasting them in there should wait until after the contest's done, since doing it before or during the contest would ruin the anonymity of the voting system...

Good point, Terje!
I had forgotten to mention that, so thank you for doing it...phew...that was a close one.
I also Posted something in regards to a complete lack of QPs for Contest entries in the Tavern Complaints/Feedback Thread...so, hopefully we'll start seeing some rewards or we will get some sort of explanation as to why not.

I had a peek in the contest entry thread.
2 Qp's were given.
Hopefully we'll see more soon if people put more effort into their entries.

Quote: ruin the anonymity of the voting system...
Sometimes a participant or a other member can guess or say who wrote what entry at loud!(do not make me put on my black hood and point some of us who do this regularly).
I quess the whole thing of not voting for participants and campaigning exist for the same thing, right?Anonymity = Equal Chances. One should vote for his favourite entry not favourite member!
I think some us would agree to this

Sweet stuff Svarog!
Some of those have been done already, but others are new & really good. I appreciate this kind of thing, as making Contests gets more & more difficult with every Round.
I can't wait to see the results from some of your suggestions.

Royal Rumble Tournament...
I think that everything "went off without a hitch", as they say. I think that the voting system was fair and that the variety of entries was excellent.
It was cool to see 6 out of 8 people submit entries, but I think it had something to do with the fact that so many Threads were on the line...not like a normal Contest.
Therefore, I'm thinking of finding a way to incorporate that element into the GAME, but I would welcome any suggestions or feedback. I'll give it some thought and see what I (or you) come up with.

I really liked what you did in the competition between me and Conan, Leo!
As for the game itself, I think that the immediate problem isn't necessarily to quality of contests or entries, nor is it the level of participation, but the extremely low level of voting. It is, after all, the voting that makes the game go 'round, and in the last few rounds, the numbe of votes have been appalingly low....
