Another easy choice, though it is no cakewalk like with the best level 2 creature.
One word...moomoo...moomoo...Mighty Gorgons simply rock! Get a couple dozen of them and you can easily down even the level 8 dragons with ease! When you face them, do anything you can to cripple them and keep your level 7 units away from them! Nothing is more humiliating than see your 10000+ gold go down the drain like a death stare. Plus they are very sturdy creatures - and they're still good against undead and elementals even without the death stare
1. Mighty Gorgon
2. Minotaur King - high damage, great speed, positive morale
3. Thunderbird - fast, quick, great damage
4. Power Lich - fast, and that cloud attack is great
5. Master Genie - quick, and can buff up your troops
6. Zealot - at least he shoots and can dish out damage if needed
7. Pit Lord - Good and can be get very early, but too average
8. Dendroid Soldier - Tough, but very slow.
9. Magma Elemental - Quite poor for the class

Although mighty gorgons are stronger i like thunderbirds more because they are faster, also they have lightning strike ability which is as good as death stare
