So none of the games work with any of the codes? And you are entering the dashes and everything correctly? If you are doing everything proper and it doesn't work you should contact ubi support. When that doesn't help you should go the hamachi route...

- Thanks PR ..and lol..grrr.. *** .. yeah nothing helps .. but Elvino ( Veritas ? ) already updated me on the hama thing so I am ready for a beating or 2  - Still it's strange I can't enter ubi rooms though.

Hey guys any of you has any ideea why when I try to play via Hamachi me and other players are geting disconected as soon as we enter the town in first turn? We have same version 1.0.1.5, stable net connections, ~70-80 ping which should be more than fine imo (ping measured on hamachi). I managed to play with Elvin and at some point we had several DCs through game we where playing Dead's man lake for HoF in ToTE so thinked that could be the problem. Then I played with someone else, and we choosed ToTE maps, but no success... As soon as we entered the game, we got DCed on 1st turn... I don't have any antivirus or firewall runing, so really no ideea what is going on...

Are ToE requiermnts higher then H5? because my computer ran H5 pretty smoothly but when I start ToE it lags, the mouse moves slowly on the opening screen as does the cyclop there.
also, entering towns or heroes takes a while also.
Do I need a larger memory? (currently having 1GB)?

Odish, I've found that enabling the hardware cursor smooths out the mouse on the opening screen.
The game runs about the same on my 1 gb machine as it does on my 2 gb machine.

I had the same problem when I initially installed the game. Most likely, your Graphic Card is not powerful enough to handle the game.

Something's strange with my HOF (all the time, 'cuz I will be able to get TOTE after 29th)Refresh Rune doesn't worka at all and moreover I can't play with you, dudes in the internet, even tough I have regeistered my two HOMMV and patched them up... O_O Maybe someone had the same problem???

As Alcibiades pointed out in your question topic, Runes don't work if you use a no-CD crack (for whatever reason - heck, a legit reason is when playing on a laptop running on its battery, to preserve battery power by not using the CD drive all the time).
Do you use such a crack, or do you use the HoF CD in the drive when you're playing?

I use nothing. HOF CD is only used to run the game and then it works without the CD.
Moreover REFRESH RUNE does not work.
Runes do work!!!

Maybe it does not work the way the description says. Can you select it in combat after a specific rune has been used up?

Yes I can.
But if I choose creature on which the rune was put and then activate the Refresh Rune ability, it just does not work...
Moreover I have written the problem some time ago to Polish distributor of the game and they didn't response...
Yeah, they tried to help me some time ago (more than a half a year), but they did nothing O_O
That's what is called specialists :] "If I can't help, I won't bother" Just gimme a break... I thought taht if someone wants to distribute the game he should be customer-friendly :]

It has,'cuz they have 'Help' or something like that where you can write 'bout your problem.
And, if they distribute and translate the game- they can cause all the errors then.

I remember encountering similar problems, that is crashes at scenario load time and crashes at game start. From what I remember game configuration may become corrupted sometimes. Installing the latest patch for the game is the first thing to do. Second, I found that erasing my configuration files helped. Basically the idea is to get rid of misconfigured files/cache/registry keys and to start anew. Before you don anything save your game files (they're in My Documents/My Games). Then erase that folder and maybe other files HoMM might have generated, in worst case reinstall the whole thing, but normally it's not necessary. Once you get to a point where you can start the game normally, copy back your saves in the My Games folder.
Also Note that:
Saves/Replays from different patch versions are incompatible
So don't install patches in the middle of a campaign. 
If this doesn't help try to be more specific (system version, game patch version, hardware, etc)

Hey, I don't know if this has been asked, but in TOTE I cannot find my screenies, the "screenshots" folder is not there. what do I do?
I have Vista, btw.
