When it comes to CPU - Heroes V is single threaded application so it does not matter how many cores you have only one will be used. What matters is higher frequency of the core.

When it comes to Memory - even with the MMH55 fix that is included the game still has the same amount of max usable memory which is about 4 GB. What is changed is that before those 4GB were split in half - 2 for the game and 2 for system use. Now all 4 are dedicated to the game.

Its just an old game there are limits to how far you can push it without the source.

Hello, I've ran into some problem.
I wanted to install the latest version of heroes5.5, but I figured it'd be best to do a complete reinstall of the game, so I uninstalled it and every other tote mod I had (each mod had a separate launch folder, then reinstalled it from the disk (collector's edition). When I tried to install patch 3.1 I got a message saying "Error in unpacking supporting files. Catastrophic error". I tried downloading the patch again, same message. Tried uninstalling TOTE same message. The game itself seems to run, but I can neither patch nor remove it. Any ideas what happened, and how can it be solved? I tried googling it, but found nothing.
