asking about playing 2 old versions' campaign on ToTE
sb can tell me how to install 2 old versions' campaign maps in ToTE and still play those maps in campaign mode, not custom game?

So I just rediscovered ToE, and I've got this nooby question.
There doesn't happen to be a way to play against computer in Duel mode is there?
EDIT: Scratch that, found out I can just set it to auto combat on one of the two sides.

Custom Map
Hey guys im trying to make a custom map to play with my brother on LAN. I want to make a 2v2 Map so we can be on each others team. but all the maps i make turn out to be FFA maps ,, can anybody help me make a team match? thanks
(btw we playing tribes of the east 3.1)

Apologies for being so late, did not have internet since last Thursday  Anyways the battle wasn't really hard, you have all the runes and spells you could hope for. I'd blame dwarves for having unconventional gameplay  Here is the replay and the save after battle.

Nope, same goes for wands or arties that give spell-like abilities - say banish.

When I try to generate a map, it says, "You have no right to create files in the game setup directory."

Try running the game with Administrator privileges or reinstall it on a drive with no Windows on.

Question (HOMM5)
Hello All,
I am new here. I usually follow http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/, which is a very informative site by the way. However, I cannot seem to find anything regarding my question below:
In HOMM5, I want to rehire a hero that I employed in the previous scenario. When I do so, I notice that he does not retain anything including level and experience. He is like any Level 1 hero in the roster. Is this normal?

Yes, only campaign heroes move on with their level/skills/spells unless the campaign specifies that all heroes will transfer to next mission. This has been the case throughout the series.

Quick question; Hero specialties seem broken for me in at least my ToTE duel mode; for example, Deleb's special does not function and Irina's griffins do not have a stat boost. Is this intentional, or is my game bugged out somehow?
