Hi Hop, I think one of the best sites for downloading maps is elrath.com (go to the Map Vault). I don't know which specific maps offers you shipyuards, though. When you have downloaded the maps, place them in the C: > Programs > Heroes of Might and Magic 5 > Maps folder.

Well, alc, I haven't said anything so far because I had a bit of problems with my internet, but know I'm back. And I think you're doing a good job, I just hope that all that mod stuff won't keep you from posting more creative ideas.
Oh and btw, I think you should get a QP for this thread.

For purposes of diplomacy, do renegade troops count as members of the evil faction or good faction? Also, do they count as members of the Haven army?

I have a question before trying this out in a game.
I want to try playing a Sylvan hero with Triple ballista and destructive magic. Is it right by imbuing the ballista with meteor shower, you will get three showers in a row?
Also, is it a point getting "Flaming Arrows" as well? (Its hard to get with 2% and expert attack needed)

More questions not answers-
I tried to set up a local network (connecting two computers with a cross-over cable to play Multiplayer but couldn't get it to work. Who can I contact to trouble shoot this? Also is it possible to play with 4 people on two computers in a local network (two teams of two)? Any help would be muy muy appreciated.

warmachines is hard to get with Sylvan but a triple umbued ballista will drop three meteor showers in a row (and all your mana)

are there any cheats for hotseat? My 8 year old son and I really enjoy playing hotseat together and were starting to get bored as we've seen most of the game. I have hammers of fate enabled and when I try use the cheats it says ' cant cheat in multiplayer'

Hello,
For cheat you can see this cheating guide, I don't know whether it work in HS, but you can try.
Also if you are still with standart version, try this trener.
This is all of my knowledge in the H5 cheating, just I neve use cheats

I just had a question regarding bugs:
Where are all the latest ones reported?
My list goes:
-------------
1. When Raising with Necromancy: Impossible to split undead stacks when all 7 slots are full after a enemy hero fight.
2. "Lord of the Undead" seem to give no DE points. OR?
3. Animation for "Crippling wound" is gone.
Are these bugs official?

I haven't tried the 4 people on two computers.
But I have hooked up two computers with a crossover cable. One problem I had was that firewalls were interfering so I took them down (after unhooking from the internet). Then the other thing you have to do is set an ip adress for your lan connection. You should be able to ping eachother (slightly different addresses for each machine). That's all I know!

I don't think so. When you play via LAN you can't take play two players on one computer. I guess it's the same if you play ubi.com although I haven't tried it.

Thanx, I am playing with Ossir now. With Implosion, the ballista easily do 2000 dmg/round, but all in all - not a very effective strategy as often ballista goes before hero. I rather go for Archery next time

maps
have the game Heroes 5 and the expansion hammer of fate so i have a question which maps you have to find tear of asha and to defeat all the players, In the map presusnula somthing like that i found the tear of asha i went to my castle i saw the tear of asha i went out of the castle and the game finished so what i meen that when you find the tear of asha and you go to your castle and go out tha game continue!
