lol, please I am not such dumb. THERE IS NOT original game, they say this item which I bought contains original + hof + tote, but in download screen, I get 2 items, Hof then tote, 2 GB each. So I have 2 options: a or b. Which first, this was my question.

You should get 3 different desktop icons for each game (it's not 3 game in one like H3 Complete).

Its all clear now, when open in account details, the Hof is called H5 + Hof then the second is Tote only. So install game + 1st expansion first then 2nd expansion. Thanks.

Although if I'm not mistaken TotE is standalone so you shouldn't need h5/hof unless you intend to do the campaigns.
I strongly recommend you get Quantomas AI for faster and better AI. Xuxo's textures IMO makes the game look A LOT better, sadly can crash on some fan maps (no problems with 5.5).

I recommend to play the original campaign first to see the difference.

I meant to say if you want to play original Tote, you should at least get the AI, then of course if you want to jump straight into 5.5 it has all needed improvements yes.

Yeah its been 3-4 years I tried playing it then gave up after few days, but now I am more comfortable with the new graphics. Will try without buffs first, naturally.

Ok, but be warned original AI turns can be excruciatingly long on big maps, and that the game isn't that good before Tote, which brought the acclaimed skill system and alternative upgrades among other things.

Who is the best Late Game hero from Haven? I'm playing map with no rushing so i dont need to worry about Deleb xD Also can someone experienced tell me how to use training efficiently?

I think this is a commander of horses, because this is your main power in the late game.

Some Original TOE Maps don't Have New Spells
Hi I was trying to play HommV TOE(3.1) again, but realized some of the maps do not have the new spells like Arcane Crystal, Sorrow, Regeneration, etc.
I know this issue was addressed before in a previous thread:

However, when I download the maps from that website and put them into my maps folder, the only map that shows up in the game is "Island of Desire." It shows up with a blank name and no description. Other maps do not show up at all.
The strange thing is that other maps I have downloaded from maps4heroes.com work fine when I paste them in my maps folder.
Does anyone know why this would happen or another site where I can download the original maps?
P.S. I have Windows 10, but even when I had Windows 7, I had this same problem.

Thanks Magnomagus, your mod looks incredible! I think I'll read up about the changes before jumping in.
I'm a long time HOMM fan starting with HOMM2. Unfortunately the franchise has fallen onto hard times after HOMM5. HOMM6 was dreadfully underwhelming, and I won't touch HOMM7 after I read player review.
HOMM5.5 might just be what I need!
