Quote: 1)I would take Pyre always over Alkin - i presume you read this post well and as you saw maretti alrdy gave an explanation why alkin is a more wise option. The other one is the fact that pyre has a very high chance of getting fire offered than air or earth.
Yes and till now i quoted a zillion times that Alkin over Pyree on that template was the marettis correct decision. So no disagreement here.
Quote: 2)you need to built Wyvern bevore flies and stuff - you mean you would take wavs to fight the dends than flies? hmm, this tactic will be disasterous in any temp!! The lizards need a unit that can dance with high speed not a tank, 2 wavs are not much of a tank either and if dends morale, ur loses would be more fatal than loosing a few flies.Plus flies are important from day one for scout speed, build it later would result in hassle of givin a flie to scout and so on.
Again no disagrement on that point - Please at least read my post proprely bevore answering.
Quote: 3) A rich and easy template does not need to much strategic thinking - well if you see the situation posted above, the solution does not really matter if the temp is blockbuster or jebus. It just asks what you would do in that situation.Even if the temp was balance, jebus or your precious bb.
Well finally we disagree. The "situation" is on a Jebus Map, so decisions are else (like for example: Alkin over Pyrre or reverse).
Quote: 4) Try to build moos instead of hydra and castle walls - i taught it was mentioned that lizards were pre built, thus there is a possibility that gorons can be built too, not sacrificing your normal build up!
..aargh, Did you read my post a single line?!? Of course it is the right decision to built Moos.
Quote: 5)A rich and easy template does not need to much strategic thinking - to be honest it is very clear that you can't play even an easy template as this as u mentioned, i wonder how you would do in more astute temps?!
Lol..just lol..no comment on that one.
Quote: Finally: if i mention that im the bad-mannered-wanna-be-show-off-veteran - on a personal note i seriously doubt that you are a vetren, a vetren knows what they talk about and appretiate the strategies involved in any temp or situation. U have the book knowledge about heroes, atleast it seems like it, on gameplay though, i seriously doubt it.
Well if you would be able to read u might wouldve noted in my first post that,
"...ooh all the good analyzing by the members in this thread i like that ..hope some players will benefit from it"
DO YOU INTENTIONALLY MISUNDERSTAND ME!!!???
What is wrong with you? This was a sentence with a huge appreciation to the posters above my post, even you included.
Your f+ckin answer to my post is hilarous and comes right out of your *ss.

The map is a modified jebus, which means its less rich (less free stuff lying around) but all the fun stuff is there. This map was above average in richness and I got 5 K gold in a box. That explains how I could build all dwells plus castle. The 3 heroes in the picture are the only ones who have movement left. There are a pack gold golems and a horde beholders. What would you do?

There's no way I'd attack horde beholders with that army. Even if you win, you wouldn't be able to take the pond with what you have left. I'd go for the golems, hit the Marletto tower, and maybe send Fiona down the road to see what's there. It looks like a scout has already been that direction. Does the scout have your non-native creatures to take a town?

The beholders block the road. Both other towns are blocked. Most times I would use the 3. heroes army with my main army and hope it dies soon. I did that in this game too to take out the 2 gold mines which were pretty close (on this temp gold mines are important). After taking the 2nd gold mine I dismissed the 16 trogs I had left.

You said both towns were blocked. I don't know what the block is, or if it's something a scout can take. I also can't see enough of the map to decide if there's something better that Dace can do.....fights, power ups, get spell book, etc
btw, I tried that fight against 90 beholders and got my ass kicked

I would sacrifice Gerwulf to check how many beholders are present.
I don't think they are much more than 50. You have basic tactics on Dace, he needs about 1000 exp.points for next level, which is not possible vs the golems. Still all your main units should reach beholders start round 2. If around 50 creeps, I expect 5 or 6 stacks, which makes 8-10 per stack.

This is day 7 so if you wanna do something about the dwell its now. The other road is blocked by horde elfs and is far away. There isnt anything valuable they can reach this day. There are horde elfs guarding the box.
Turns out there are 67 beholders including evil eyes.

The correct and safe thing would be to check the size out with Gerwulf and hope to take advantage of the bug and reduce them by 10. I didnt do that though.
First I attacked the golems to the lower left of them (easy win). This way Gerwulf could pick up the campfire, place himself where it was and pick up the sulfur to save movement on Dace. Then Dace hit the marletto tower and then attacked the beholders.
This is how I placed my troops. First round the beholders hit the lizards. I wait with all but defend with the lizards and hope they can survive one more shot. Then I move everything forward. Second round I hit the eyes with the single flie and then follow up with the wyverns.
3. round I hit the top group of beholders with the wyverns to make room for a tripple attack with my hydras. Make sure you avoid being hit to much by retaliation by hitting stacks with about the same amount of hp as you deal. The hydras should reduce the larger stacks.
End of battle. As you can actually see on the first screen shot the cents down the road guard a +4 sword. I take that with Fiona and attack the hydras. I make sure to bring a flie (from Fiona).
Ofcourse this battle can only be made if the hydras dont get moral at the wrong time. I wanna take advantage of the terrain here. The hydras move towards my hydras and I hit them with my hydras two times and take two hits. I tried the battle 2 times and both times my hydras could take two hits but didnt have much hp left.
Then I move the hydras back and block the way with a gnoll. Next round I hit them with a single unit and then the wyvern. One hydra down. Now they go forward, and while they are there I can hit them again with a single unit and the wyverns and then go the other way around the obstacle with basilisks and hydra.
In the end the wyverns and the balista can finish them off.
End of battle.
Break week 3 day 4. Above average map.
