Wow very good game! Arcanes shot first, crystals avoided taunt and knocking out executioners, high druids acted before hero and mamga even had imbue ballista yet the orcs prevailed  The only way for things to get even better would be for ballista to act after druids but you can't have it all. Apart from unicorns not attacking shamans I also think that the ballista should have waited first.

Best order is High Druid -> Hero -> Ballista, like in that Haven vs Sylvan replay we had yesterday. That way, the Hero's first action with Rain of Arrows deals insane damage, and the Ballista is imbued as well.

Hehe Radar had won the first tournament as well. One more match before the finals and all three finalists are possible candidates, however my money is on sq79. Either way it's gonna be fun.

Ouch. I guess we wait for his version of the story then. So it's radar vs sq, let's see if radar has prepared adequately  From what I understand they've played numerous duels in the past so they should know a few things about each other's strategies.

Was like a stats fight with blizzard boy, both game i managed to get outrageous stats i think.
First game I'm Necro versus inferno, low stats for inferno proved a problem, but maybe too many levels needed for flaming ballista, though its a waste not to combine with ring of affinity
2nd game I'm Dungeon versus Academy, 27 spellpower and 18 attack by dungeon with meteor shower, and a lucky atb from grim raiders to go before titans just standing opposite.
I have problem again uploading the replays, but i sent them to elvin yesterday, maybe he could post it.

That Empowered Meteor Shower killing the Phoenix while striking at some units as well must have been a real tragedy for Academy.
And Grim Raiders charging against tier 7s =  That defense reduction ability is awesome.

The academy game just didn't go well. 12 init raiders playing before 15 init djinns is ridiculous if you ask me. Other than that it was very risky not to use magic protection mini arties and there were some openings for firebreath attacks.
Necro was hard to bring down, maybe if it had less mana or inferno had some resistance.

i rarely watch replays, but this ought to be worth my while, assuming that neither side gets incredibly lucky or unlucky!

I don't think they have yet, radar would have posted And there are numerous replays that would be worth your while, just take a look at the comments and judge for yourself.
Today I asked teacher to see if there is a way to make starting towns random, there had been a few requests on that for some time With any luck the next tournament will be on an improved map.

Played 2, and radar had to go, final game tomorrow. We went for random in both games.
Draw 1-1
First game radar wins with dungeon versus sylvan sq79
2nd game radar loses with sylvan versus inferno sq79
I don't have the first replay, forgot to save it, but it was very close in first game. Overspent in mentor and still couldn't get the skill i wanted.

Sure thing Inferno played well, I was surprised it had both light and dark magic but that went smooth. Radar was easy to identify, his signature move is chaos all around Though I consider rain of chain lightning a waste of mana unless you get a booster or the druids channel first. The druids did not live much for the spellpower bonus to make any difference and the seducers were not threatening, that deep freeze could have been better spent. I also believe the treants should hold their ground. Inferno on the other hand used two powerful buffs and then washed all over the battlefield

Great fight, Inferno played very well, although I agree with Elvin that Deep Freeze could have been used at something else with a better result (such as the ArchDemons or Nightmares)

I understand the reasoning in that he wanted to preserve the arcanes but it was a lost cause, they would soon be blocked anyway.
