I will make a space faction then however I don't think it is realistic to put a space faction in Homm 6, but I will grant your wish.

I posted it because someone asked for it and no one else told me any faction they wanted, plus it was fun making it
Addition to the post: I was reading some of the very old threads and one of them gave me an idea, the idea goes like this, when you conquer a town of a different alignment I think that the hero would probably instead of keeping the units and buildings of the factions tear it all down and start a new town in it's place, one of a faction that is of the same alignment. It is probably not a good idea but maybe you could get a choice, or it could be a hero skill of maybe an artifact or something. If it does happen here are what I think the factions should rebuild as

yes.
and, more, i'd soon like to get more details about your factions, like creature abilities and stats (don't have to be values, something like "Strong in Hitpoints & Defense, weak in Attack and Speed" would be enough), more background, special buildings, etc. Becaus ejust the lineup and raw information about the heroe's don't tell much about a town's character.
btw, have you done the fortress (*H5 dwarves) yet?

I want to finish all the faction sketches before I start getting in to detail, also I will start the Fortress faction which is based on the dwarves (of course)and more generally Norse mythology, and perhaps a little of the mythologies of the people like the Norse such as Celtic, of Slavic

Defender
Lexen is different from most Dwarves in the way that instead of charging into the heat of battle with a Spear, Axe, or Sword, Lexen kills the enemy from afar with his trusted bow and arrow. He can also give things to his Hedeby, either tips or equipment
Speciality: Ranged Battle: All Hedeby in Lexen’s army gain 1% accuracy per hero level, they also get 5 extra shots

Some claim they have seen Fenris in the mountains. Gelumenen can truthfully say he rode one.

Inevra
Rune Mage
Inevra started out like most rune mages however she had a talent most did not have, she also could control magic besides runes.
Speciality: When the enemy uses a rune spell Inevra has a 75% of learning that spell for the battle, a 50% to learn a destructive of summoning spell for the battle, 25% of learning it if it is a dark of light spell and a 5% if it is a warcry.
Imperuin
Rune Mage
Imperuin is the Dwarven King’s own guard and as such she can convince her units to take gold from destroyed enemies.
Speciality: Dwarven Gold: When Imperuin defeats an enemy army the player gets gold depending on the size of the army.
Ordo
Defender
Ordo is the son of Svea and is very good and taking away electricity
Speciality: Lightning Deflect: All of Ordo’s units are 50% resistant against lightning spells
Parena
Defender
Parena is the daughter of Helmar but strangely enough her abilities are the opposite of her father’s

Shentoung Meng
Conjurer
Shentoung believes that basic elementals control our very lives

Xie Chu
Conjurer
Xie Chu was a teacher before he helped the army, as such creatures under him are more educated in everything they do
Speciality: Creature Education: All creatures in Xie Chu’s army gain 1% to all stats per 5 hero levels
Zhi Wang
General
Zhi Wang is the Northern border Guard and, as such, has had much experience with the Cities of the East
Speciality: Northern Guard: All units in Zhi Wang’s army gain 3% to attack when attacking or retaliating against Rebel creatures
Chao Dong
General
Chao Dong is the Western Border Guard and as such has had much experience with ships and shipyards (because to the west is a large body of water)
Speciality: Ship Master: Chao Dong does not have to immediately stop his movement when he gets on or off a ship, also ships on his control gain 1% speed per hero level
Sheng Fa
General
Sheng Fa is the Southern Border Guard and has learned some of the secrets of the mages who live in the deserts below
Speciality: The Secrets of the Desert: All units in Sheng Fa’s army or Sheng Fa when he is not in battle gain 5% to all stats when on the desert terrain
Racial Ability: Favor: All Palace heroes have a favor bar, at the end of any battle they gain favor if they won, also at the end of a battle they may choose to resurrect some of the fallen palace creatures at the nearest town. At the town heroes may use other building to exchange favor for other effects

I tend to agree with this. Just the line-up of creatures is a bit bare. Even an addition of the abilities of the units may give us more insight on the feel of it.
As it is, I can say that your ideas have potential, but they need work. Also I get the feeling that you not adhere to the Racial-basis of a faction, this is because you seem to be verry inconsistent with the amount of racial units. I know people do not like to have a town consisting of almost exclusive racial unit. I don't know if I'nm right but I get this feeling from your factions. (HoMM Fortress is a nice example, though I tend to disagree with this because to me it made much sense that the isolasionistic dwarves have an army of almost exlcusively dwarves. I personally disliked the HoMM 1-4 style of cobbled-together creatures sharing a basis of habitat, because it made a lot less sense to me than a basic race of sentient beings and some allied creatures)

As I said before I would like to get the skeletons (heroes, introductions, and creatures) for each faction out of the way before I get down to the rest, I will do the skeletons, and then I will do the rest. Also different people like different types of factions (I mean like Homm 1-2, Homm 3, Homm4, or Homm5) so this way allows people to choose what number of racial creatures in their faction should be. Besides in real life during the medieval times, different empire had different number of warriors from their own lands and mercenaries from far away

what a good idea. At last we can stop discussing how many should be racial and just play with the faction we like.
Still that would mean that i never play with sylvan if it has too many racial creatures Nice idea anyway
