May I ask you, how?

The dialogs with text can display only internal pictures, so I used internal defs which had the required size and worked out around.

You need energy credits to launch spells. Energy is bought with money, money come from looting enemies. Stronger the enemy is, more money you find on its corpse. Some artefacts generate energy every day, which is stored in the city, but generally they are found later in game, and with some trouble. The ideas may change after I see how balanced or not it is.
The hero will never level up. Only the 4 creatures will.

It will be around <>100 Mo I guess. It contains all music tracks from the movie, 250 combat custom sounds and all map objects custom sounds. The new creatures are about 30 Mo only, is mostly the music which takes space and some gifs. But I got the original show tracks, hey, and they are awesome
The music will not play terrain conditioned, but area conditioned. For example on the planet which holds the Chinese layout, some objects with specified subtypes will make you hear in their vicinity taoist, Buddhist and some good Chinese music. (like market, temples in original maps)
I redid Teyla model, as was not satisfied with first:
Introduction gif:
Actually I wanted to use this flv track to create a short AVI in opening sequence. The flv weights 1 Mo, but heroes can't handle compressed AVI so I had to uncompress it. Guess the size of this short 10 seconds AVI when not compressed.
96 Mo....ready for 1GO Heroes map?
I started working on a script which allows fast testing of a map. Ctr+left click, change anything you dislike, done. Over with starting again because you forgot that square un-passable or that monster/hero is too strong. Now you optimize everything during the first test and paste the desired value in the original map.

10 seconds avi = 96 Mo?
Why don't you compress it?

I already wrote that Heroes can't read compressed AVI. So the conclusion is: you can't run an AVI in a map.
Anyway, you don't need to look at movie, just play the map, it is the movie

Update (just to keep me motivated)
Finished the stargate traveling (78 symbols used, 11 possible destinations) and now working on the Command center within Atlantis city:
Credits (funds) will come from external trades routes between Atlantis ans other cities(planets) from Pegasus Galaxy. Some possible use for funds:
Back to work.

Woooow... Tell me... how much will it be possible to gain credit per day (or how will it work?). And will it be possible to teach a character every ability? Because if yes I am.. kinda aware that very fast it will be possible to make a killing machine from every charater?
Btw. What will happen if one character die in battle (and what would be if it would be Shepard)?

1) Once you pick one ability and train the character to, it is disabled for further picks. So the player can either pick the best ones for the same character but others will die quick, or build a balanced team. One ablity can not be picked by 2 or more characters.
2) There is a building in Atlantis which will resurrect dead team mates (nano technology, like in the show). But the cost is prohibitive, so better you don't lose them.
3) Money comes from killing things and trading routes. Once you visited a planet, a trade route is established and grows every day. Of course if the planet is attacked by wraiths, you will have to send the team to defend it, otherwise you lose the trade route until you free it.

Nothing complicated until here, basic dialogs commands. The stargate traveling was something different, took me 2500 lines of codes to script 78 clicks and 11 destinations. Then sent the script to J Vogan for test, and he compiled the 2500 lines to ...231, using variables tables. That is real scripting.

I wanted to watch this sitcom, however, I was scared by 10 seasons.
It will need too much time to watch the whole story.

Oh one question about the actual story, Salamandre. I see you have dialogs with Daniel Jackson and mr O'Neill from Stargate SG-1. How does SG-1 relate to Atlantis?

Just look at the first Atlantis episode. It starts in Antarctica (ancient outpost), O'Neill is present, as well as Jackson, they talk about a flying city in Pegasus galaxy, and a team is formed and sent by the StarGate. Their dialogs will be only an introduction to my map. Once the prologue is done, they will never return in the game.
