Didn't know there was a 3ds version! I played FFT advance on the ds and was a lot of fun. Very different from the one I'm playing now - the ps1 version - which is one of the best games I've ever played. So much depth and a great story. They remade it for the psp a while ago and then ported the remake to the iPhone and iPad. It's a great port although they hanged the dialog for the worse. But gameplay was unchanged, just added a few classes.

fft is simply one of the best games ever made; and war of the lions is a great update. the job system is just so cool, i'll never tire of designing the perfect party & classes.

How embarrassing, there is no 3DS or Snes version of the game
Played Tactics Ogre little but don't see how I could mix that whit FFT.
Now the one I played was GameBoy Advance version and that was whit emulator, maybe that's why confused it as snes.
Ds version FF Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift, played and liked it.
FFT The War of the Lions on PSP, I only played few missions, when I remembered i had unfinished save on Disgaea 4 on Ps3 (actually prefered the later, sue me) now that i played it, that short of a time, I must confused it was a 3DS game (got the both systems quite same time).
****
If you where to hunt down and kill me for liking disgaea over ff tactics you would not be the fist one. I talked whit one guy once about games, old-school and ff particularly, then he asked, what did I like fft games? I ignored it simply saying, I prefer disgaea instead. Now completely out of blue, the guy starts shouting: "How can you say that! We all HATE DISGAEA! Say that you did not mean that or atleast that you hate the firt disgaea game!" I was really laughing inside but the guy was so serious about it, I had to give a straight face: "Yes the first one is pretty bad but it get's better in later games. N.4 i have enjoyed the most." The guy tries to get hold of his heavy breathing: "Okay. I have not played the latest, so I can't say opinion but you can't possible say that DISGAEA IS SUPERIOR TO FF TACTICS, IN STORY WISE IT'S UNPOSSIBLE!" Now, in this point i was really cracking. It's a game, I just enjoy one over another, no big deal. Later that day the guy "apologized" that he went too far... but now, he could not respect me as a gamer whit idiology like this. I never knew that day would turn out to be that amusing myself!

Lol that sounds like one of many "my Moba is better than your Moba" arguments that I've heard. Why does one have to be better? Im always happy to find more tactical rpg games. The more the merrier!

You can buy the version you do not get on the 3DS shop cheaper than if you got two hard copies, so you would be spending more money then necessary.

Hmm, I've heard something about a special "double edition". Guess I'll have to wait and see...

Talisman
I know technically it's a board game, but I bought the phone version and I'm having a blast.
I mean, in what game can you be a neutral Dread Knight wielding the saint lance, the consecrated robes and own a cursed talisman, all the while using a cross to smite spirits. At a point I automatically defeated the strongest enemies because I became all-powerful... before being continuously defeated by death itself at dice...
I like it...

Just finished my first game of EU4 Russia, (the game kinda ended abruptly tho lol, was in the middle of an exciting 'World War'). Game's pretty sweet, made many mistakes tho, but was a massive learning experience.

I've finally come back to KoTOR II. The story slowly increases its pace with introduction of Darth Nihilus. Besides, I've got my first piece of a lightsaber, so I hope I'll be getting it soon, especuially since there are so many cool lightsaber colours.

Stevie said: Just bought Distance to play some racing in between my WoW sessions. Absolutely mind-boggling brilliance, can happily recommend it.
i thought nitronic rush was pretty great, and was curious about distance... can you explain what is meant by "survival" and "exploration" in the tagline?
