Continuing muy Legend of Zelda : Parallel Wolrds journy, after I finished the 7 Icy World Dungeons, getting the 7 cristals and the 7 misterious tables too, after climbing the GOD AWFUL FREAKING STUPID PARALLEL TOWER 4 TIMES IN A ROW, with its 9 floors filled with enemies, sub bosses, puzzles and tricks (like bomb jumping) and finally got to beat Ganon...just when I thought 'I finished the game, it's over' I find in the credtis scene:
Good lord, now that's a hack. Not gonna start the second quest for now, I've got enough Zelda for some time.
Let's get back to the (new) roots instead

I was always aware of it and friends always told me what an awesome game it is..... i guess for some reason or another i just never got around to actually playing it all those years ago.
I recently acquired the game and played it for the first time couple of weeks ago and.... this game rules! can't believe how goooood it is.... in fact i'm going to play it right now!

Man, Fallout 1 and 2 were so amazing that I keep wanting to relive that, but I've played both of them way too much and now I just know most of them by heart, so the experience seems to be forever gone.

Playing some Skyrim, Dayz with some friends, and had a 4 hour game on Age of mythology with 3 friends, we just all created a no man's land out of the middle settlements, I held it for the longest with a balanced army of elephants, axeman, chariots and camel riders. (Ra UP?, I think not ) I do mix in some slingers in against an arcus spam, but since it's a 4 way free for all I couldn't really make an army against a single specific foe.

Skyrim. Worth EVERY penny.
The start was tedious, until I got used to interface. Then the addiction kicks in, there is SO much to do, SO much to discover. Thousands of mods available, each one is a game in itself. Thousands of options. If you don't have it, hurry.

I've been keeping an eye on Skyrim, but i keep forgetting to buy it lol. Maybe for my bday.
I've been playing pokémon X since christmas and am seriously addicted to it. SO FUN <3 I cannot wait to beat GunFred into a pulp once i've finished training my all star team (not that I didn't do that already, but a victory that depends on Aegislash is a hollow one).

Skyrim is the best RPG in history.
Nothing beats the sense of exploration that this game creates. Till it's release I thought of Oblivion as the best RPG, but then came Skyrim with it's Nordic setting and Dragons. It's like the LotR of gaming industry, with it's attention to detail and world design (don't mind the bugs though ). The only thing that they should change imo, is the narrative. I know the games main focus is to experience the world as if you were looking through your own eyes, but you loose some of the epic-ness, when instead of looking on the dragon that is attacking you, you are poking the guard with an arrow to the knee

It could be, but is not. I agree that the sense of exploration, the atmosphere , the graphics, all those are the best I ever saw. However, one small thing destroy all: the delay for uploading each time you change area or enter somewhere, up to 10 seconds even on top machine.
If it was only between areas, I could forgive. But try to find a character in a city, when entering a house then get out takes 10s+10s and you have 30 houses to search.
That's the main problem with modern games: because of huge graphics they give up on playability.

Holy **** that's unexpected I imagined you'd get bored and then go back to modding your ancient mess of a TBS
EDIT:
Started playing Planetside 2 cuz it's free and why the hell not.
It was free for me for about 4 hours, then I bought a pack for like 5 dollars.
Infiltrator with smg sounded so damn appealing on paper but just like playing Inf in Tribes Ascend you just start realizing that you're not really doing anyhting worthwhile besides being a slight annoyance.
Add to the fact that the cloak/uncloak sound can be heard by anyone with normal hearing, and that the cloak itself isn't actually invisible at all and actually DOES NOT WORK if the enemy has low graphics settings and well... **** I'm not "infiltrating" that's for sure.
I just wanted to hack some **** and turn the entire battle around and stuff like that. There goes my futuristic navy seals dreams.
**** it, imma learn how to use the NC Heavy Assault Gauss Saw cuz it's apparently godlike. Time to actually be useful.
Oh yeah and I'm New Conglomerate cuz their guns have the awesomest look and sound to them. ****ing America and FREEDOM and GUNS THAT ROAR LIKE HARLEY DAVIDSONS and stuff I dunno. Would've gone with the red industrial communists but they sound and look like douchebags and NC is apparently the least used generally.

this. only one of the coolest, most entertaining games in human history:
seriously, one of my top 10 favorite games for any console. the graphics, the gameplay, the coolness factor, all top notch for it's genre.
forgot to mention the soundtrack and sounds. they fit in the game like a round peg, it's ridiculous.

I am not that stubborn. I didn't play a single new game in the last 6-7 years so the start was tedious, not used to interface and such. But once you get in, no way to have a life.
I hate those games who suck your time. Now excuse me, I have to max my alteration.
