that's it. you must run the new era executable. if you installed it correctly, then it should be in the same directory as h3wog.exe
the adventure map def is irrelevant. you can have your creature working perfectly with an animation of cartographer or learning stone.

@ Great Salamandre: I meant mouse-over in adventure map. My understanding is that there is no mouse-over frames in adventure map, only during combat.

Maybe your def has wrong size or wrong extension. Sometimes I do fast and install a pcx instead of a def and of course it crashes.

Large def: as provided in the sample.
Adventure map def: took the adventure def of angel, renamed it and nothing else was done on it.
I didn't make any modification too the defs which are already working.
I inserted them into h3sprite.
I inserted the name of the def into the last lines of ZeObjts and ZObjcts lists.
I am really confused....

The copy of angel's def is renamed AVWZ197.def and is copied into both lists. I changed the creature number in the end of the lines to 197 also.

Yes, I've done all the following steps:
- add frames to CPRSMALL.def, TWCRPORT.def and AVWATTAK.def
- add to any lod-file def of the creature with "CR[number].def" name.
- add rows to ZCRTRAIT.txt and CRANIM.txt
- increase "Creatures" value in DATA/amethyst.cfg
- create config file: DATA/creatures/[number].cfg. See example.
- add missile def (SHOT[number].def), if necessary
- add sounds: S[number]ATTK.82m, S[number]SHOT.82m and others.
- add monster's small sprite into ZEOBJTS.txt & ZOBJCTS.txt (nod included into sample archive)

I might be wrong, but I still think that you need to run Era1.8.exe, not h3wog.exe...

then why it does make it start as like normal wog.exe? It just makes the game running, not setupping the plugins?

it starts like h3wog.exe, because it actually IS h3wog.exe with some modifications

And I think I messed whole wog because I have now 2 wog.exe and 2 h3.exe and 2 other .exe and on tools folder have own exe files.
So....huh? I just dont get it! (
