Until Mr. Paul kindly decides to reply again (guess the mail ended up in spambox once again for whatever reasons), why don't we use Battle VI as the Forge theme?
I mean, just listen to it!
It SCREAMS technology all over the place! (in my opinion, anyway)
Here.

The one I posted?
Battle 1 from the same OST is kind of fitting, too.
Was Steve Baca in Forge mood or something when he was writing those?

yes, i meant this one. the second one you posted, doesn't capture the "feel" anywhere near as much. the first one, is spot on.
So I wanted to replace the normal theme that plays in the VCMI Forge, but I apparently suck at it (because file extensions and whatnot).
Help? (well, apparently it's not file extensions, since when I checked the files have the same bitrates and this kind of stuff - pardon my ignorance here - but it still crashes the game).

That music is actually pretty fitting. It's funny, I've always thought Heroes 4 had a few intentionally forge-like elements. Dragon golems are an obvious one to spot, but a lot of the music does give me that feeling too. 'Battle VI' is the one that feels most applicable though.
Also, I feel like Macron's forge lineup deserves to be its own project. I know I'd try it out just for the lulz.

And yet Forge is the last game one would think about when talking about the Forge (along H1, H2 and H5, since we had that H6 April Fools Joke)

Cause it's SUPER Forge.
PS Balancing is a quest for future. There are also some graphic works needed (Super Forge is based on some ancient unknown untitled polish Forge from 2002).

That's one old Forge indeed.
Back when 3DO was still a thing.

A bump.
Not only that, but Paul asked my (and Everdork's, unrelated to mine) questions here.
It feels good, man.
(and now I have to struggle emailing him again, not that I'm particularly impatient, but it wasn't a chatroom talk so far...)

***Edited***
Ok, I playtested the Forge and I really liked it. One bug I found was that ranged attacks, first shoot the projectile and then the unit plays the animation, plus there are some temporal incongurences in melee units too.
Another suggestion(for balance issues):
Re-consider the units you put in. The Forge units are supposed to be a stronger version of the other town's, plus Jump Troops and Sky Hunters are too many flyers with a small level gap. In original heroes, Flyers have at least 3 levels of gap between(Griffins and Angels have lv 4,5 and 6, while Harpies and B.Dragons have lv 3,4,5 and 6). Same is worth for ranged units, only with a little more tolerance, since the level gap between Gremlins and Magi is only 2 levels(lv 2 and 3).
So my Suggestion is:
Lv1: Security Bots(MM6 flying robot-orbs)
Lv2: Laser Goblins(with stats a little higher than normal goblins)
Lv3: Cyber Dead(With stats a little higher than zombies)
Lv4: Gog Pyros(I like the Gog-pyro idea and desing, melee, with stats higher)
Lv5: Ogre Missiles(Has Lv 3 and 4 gap between these and Laser Goblins)
Lv6: Jumping Minotaurs(has lv 2,3,4 and 5 between Security Bots and Minotaurs)
Lv7: Juggernaut/Dreadnoughts(like These, melee damage)
EDIT 2:
********Bugs********
I also experience numerous crashes when playing maps. As well as the names of the building are confused. There's Tank Garage when there are no tanks, the names of Barrack and Slaughterhouse are messed up and so on.
Btw, I play version 0.6 of the mod(can't download version 0.5c cos' it says it's only for premium accounts).

Not counting the 0 level gap in Inferno (Devil teleportation is basically flying), Necropolis and Dungeon (Scorpicores will likely want a word with you ). Fortress, Rampart and Tower also had a lesser gap than mentioned (2 levels).
Quote: Same is worth for ranged units, only with a little more tolerance, since the level gap between Gremlins and Magi is only 2 levels(lv 2 and 3).
And the gap between Medusas and Beholders is 0 levels. Ditto for Storm and Ice elementals.

Those orbs which were among the strongest foes?

Ok. You're right, but this is a Hi-Tech Town, logically units are supposed to have "slightly overpowered" stats, and thus balance can be achieved by placing gaps amongst units.
Now that I re-think, we may consider Juggernauts/Dreadnoughts for ranged fire(the model I sent has big cannons), thus ignoring the gap between Missile Ogres and Juggernauts, And reduce the Missile Ogre's ammo quantity(how much missiles can they carry into battle?) to 6 or 8.
As for the orbs, who cares anyway, if they were strong. I.E. In M&M 7, Serpent Flies were the first enemies encountered, thus the weakest. In HoM&M III, they are Level 3.

You mean black walking things?
Do you have upgrade DEF of it (with green on it's roof)? I only found degrade.

By the way, do Polish Forge developers plan to also replace Zombies and Troopers (1-2 level in Forge 0.6)?

The zombies will be replaced for sure. I've seen artworks of gnolls or similiar creatures. Alternative idea is some kind of worker or troop with weak gear.
Goblins stay, there are very nice units.
