edit: and btw, when I tried to join xeroxHC's game...I did, after that a black screen occured

No kidding. Harpy attack (critical hit) took 13 seconds, from 0:26 to 0:39.

Here is the answer for saves - To load a multiplayer game, you have to create a new game, but instead of multiplayer or hotseat, you select "saved".

A strategy that NEEDS to be nerfed is the Mass Inner Fire + Father Sky Buff + Stronghold combo.
I think getting nearly half of your army decimated in the first turn is a bit OP, even though I have been able to deal with it as Haven with all the healing and crowd control.

Stronghold deals massive damage mainly during the first round, after that it's relatively easy for most factions to force them to lead a battle of attrition which could end up bad for the Stronghold army. In any case, I agree that sometimes they deal too much damage during the said first round and the opponent can't cope with the losses. A simple reduction of the Cyclopes Speed should fix that but on the other hand may be too great a nerf for the army as a whole...

I was trying out a different non-turtle Necro strategy and I never even got the chance to try to counter his push.
All of his creatures got the first strike, so I couldn't cast Earth elemental, Slow, Stone Skin, Ice wall or anything like that to try to slow him down a bit.

Without turtle formation, necro is becoming very weak indeed. Even in this case the poison cloud is very destructive and versus good player the game is mostly lost.
For the players complaining about OP necro I would advice them to learn/practice all the opportunities for their faction in duels!
For Necro this could be a minus, regarding the fact this is the best strategy for them.

One must hope they do something to balance Fate Weavers, if Necro with turtle formation = overpowered and Necro without = weak, it seems a serious issue.

Necropolis is light years away from "weak" even if it's not using turtle tactics, give it some more testing before making such conclusions. The majority of the Necropolis players are using Magic heroes which have difficulties against certain Might counters, most notably from Stronghold and few are actually testing the Necro Might heroes which are no less dangerous, sometimes even more. The basic ability of the Might hero which reduces all stats of the enemy creatures when some of their stacks dies is VERY nasty, maybe even overpowered (how do you like your most powerful stack's HP drop by 10-15% for instance?) and with the bonuses to the raw Might stats, the Necropolis creatures become very sturdy against regular Might attacks - and they are tough even by default. Give it a few tries where applicable.

I would be glad to test these things but I have a hardware issue with my HDD and won't be able to play on my PC for some time (until it's replaced...). But let's say that I have an idea (and not only) what a Haven Tear Magic hero can do and I'm still pretty convinced that Necropolis is not "weak".

Also, anyone read their pre-release patch notes? They still haven't balanced fate weaver range damage or improved the usability of some units, like ghoul, breeder, hell hound got a tiny boost but imo it's not nearly enough... =/

Bug fixes aren't always well documented since they are numerous. It could have been fixed amidst the dozens of the rest for all we know.
