I am disappointed with the changes.
While I like that they reduce the health of all Core creatures, they did not touch the big issues in the game atm, such as:
* Necropolis balance. Necromancy is to powerful. Fate Weavers spider form are to overpowered, while the humanoid form is pretty much useless in comparision.
* Haven's Glories are like the most powerful creature in the game if used efficently while the Griffins and Sun Crusaders suck. The Sun Crusaders really really need more speed to give Jousting justice. The only good thing with Angels is their powerful Ressurection, their offense is really weak.
* For Sanctuary, Kappas, Sharks and Spring Spirits feel really weak and the Kenshi should get more health considering how its Challenge ability works.
* In Inferno, Maniacs and Breeders are really boring creatures. The Hellhound needs more than just a Magic Defense buff.
* Stronghold's Dreamwalkers are still very boring creatures. My suggestion is their ability should be changed into this:
Father Sky and Mother Earth: When cast on a single enemy, immobilizes him and extends the duration of a debuff. When cast on a single ally, frees him of all negative effects and extends the duration of a buff.

Just put some soldiers (resurected) near some seraphs, and see the difference.
Also those soldiers are untouchable till the end of battle, which sux alot (y% turn bla bla).
And yes those blazes are very strong in my oppinion, not to mention their abbility: seer
edit: no effect on seraphs, besides that, Fate are vulnerable like any other elite creature

Xerox, I really hope that's not you (XeroxHC) that I'm playing on duels right now. Abusing resurrect and not quitting even though you've lost all your units, eh? -.-

I was going to surrender when it was the ressurected Glory's turn, so I waited a bit.

Yes, but only in comparison. It's a pretty good Champion otherwise. Baleful gaze could use some nerfing too.
Quote: The Hellhound needs more than just a Magic Defense buff.
I'm surprised that they reduced their HP even further! I get the idea of all Cores becoming slightly less "healthy" but this particular one is borderline cannon-fodder already, why do they refuse to make it useful? Its weekly population is just too low to justify such a low survivability so they either need to become more numerous or just tougher.
And why is Boundless Hate still not buffed? Used against a Magic hero, 30 (thirty, damn it!) Pit Lords can barely kill a few Cores of each stack with it, maybe 1 Elite and the enemy Champion may not even notice it. Compared to the skills that the other Champions receive when upgraded, this one is very underwhelming.

That's because you use a magic hero for them. Of course Magic creature gets a major boost in dmg (e.g. spider shot/glory) while physical units gets very little. Sun paladins, angels and other physical attacker don't get much dmg boost from a magic hero. If you used a might hero with added skills to increase their dmg even further, angels, sun paladins and all the others will be much better compared to the B-Glory.
The B-Glory is also the most fragile elite unit of every faction. One might argue if Archlich or Centaur-M is more fragile but, yea anyway. I'm not saying she's bad by any means, her overall usefulness is one of the best of any elite creatures. But she's also very fragile and is also weak to dark.
I also don't like the HP nerf of the cores =/ Make them back the way they are, maybe boost some dmg for elites and let the champions stay as they are. The reason why the spider is so strong is because of the magic hero + skills that further increases its dmg. Use a might hero and human form and you will see it's not that bad. Though I prefer to have it shoot in the corner as most of you

Untrue, they are "spirits" and reduce the damage they take further so actually they are averagely tough for an Elite. Given that they are a de facto shooter, they are actually tough. Given that they have incredibly nasty skills, they are irritatingly tough. If you catch my drift.

Well the spirit form only helps until it's their turn(then it goes away) Having ini of 50 makes very few units actually able to dmg them before they get to act. Sorry I don't understand "a de facto" =/ And I agree that their skills are amazing and it's some reasons they are good. I was just saying they are fragile compared to other elite units ^^ I like them very much. They are pretty, useful and I just like the overral concept =) I also like the sun paladins very much.

He means that even though they are tecnically not shooters, they play just like shooters: They attack from a distance and ignore obstacles, you don't retaliate, and they return to their initial position. Sure, there are differences, but they play very much like a shooter.

...They are technically BETTER than shooters, since they can never be blocked and suffer no range penalty (although many shooters also have no range penalty).

In my oppinion, B-Glory cant be compared with similar creatures from other factions. They are simply too powerful.
As for now I see Heaven faction the strongest, (even magic tear or blood).

Necromancers defencive and Orcs mega agressive beated my Haven. Two looses for now. To me balance is good, not perfect, need changes, but much better compared to H5. More important now is vs hoo you play not what faction you use ...

Try spamming petrify on the weavers vs necro and using the 2 glories to destroy his stacks one by one.
Against orcs just use retribution aura on your angel stack and hit his cyclopses. Watch his entire army drop in 2 turns.
Having said that, necro, stronghold, and haven at least have SOME chance against eachother. If you try inferno against any decent necro player, for example, you will end up not killing even one of his stacks while he kills all of yours.
Of course, this has been repeated on this thread many times...it just pisses me off that the dev team still hasn't figured it out. =/

Both of these spells can almost certainly be considered as a bug though.

I bet u dont know all the tricks with heaven
Also, 2 stacks of B-Glory is too much in a duel. Using them right, and cant die.
