Enraged cyclops triggers burning rage with his mighty slam, it is supposed to work with his laser beam only.

Are units supposed to attack when frozen? My panther warrior could to those that were adjacent to him even though he could not move elsewhere.

The panther warriors *can* use his ability without charging for 3 tiles. In my case he managed it by just walking 1 tile.

In most cases after horseshoe appears over unit there is no "lucky" strike at all. Unit deals damage in its regular min-max damage value range. No info about triggered luck in battle log.

Well yes, they can not move, but they can act in a turn.

this happens to ranged attacks only i think

Do anyone know if the people who have problems with laptops played the demo? Because I can understand if they could play the beta and not the game, but the demo should have the same system requirements as the final version.

I'm really afraid of buying the game.

Requirements should be the same but since 1.4 and up to the release the game has a checker for min requirements and unless you meet them you cannot play. Whereas I could initially play with a GeForce 7600(with graphical glitches and stuff admitedly), that is no longer possible. The issue with laptops is that their graphics cards are comparatively weaker than a pc's so that may affect performance.

There was a guy in the H6 Ubi board that posted a solution but I do not know if it works and if so whether it works for everyone.

No, this happens at every attack. I wrote it at the first page. But alas, noone reads long lists anymore... Anyway, I will add to that list more and more as I will play.

- There is no description for anything, that makes me mad. My dynatsy weapon turned into "Heart Of Griffin" but what does that mean? What is this weapon? Is this a dagger which I see before me?

- When I get an ability that adds magic power to my hero, it doesn't add magic power to my hero. He had 3 and still has 3 altough the description of the skill I chose says "adds 3 magic power (fire) to your hero" So I wasted my upgrade point in vain.

i think it won't show specific magic power on stat screen, but the are there, you should check your firebolt damage before and after

Now that you mention it, I think it would be nice if they showed elemental boost and elemental res on the status screen.

Sun rider not getting any bonus dmg for charge.
Sun crusader does get bonus charge dmg but it does not show on tooltip.

Agree with others posting about luck not working, in addition, it didn't do extra damage when my griffins attacked normally.

I didn't experience these sort of bugs in H5.

Cyclops impervious to pain - cyclops seemed to take too much dmg at some stages.... dunno if possibly may have to do with radiant glory hitting them & also had hero ability pressed attack associated with the glory at the time....I even did 495dmg on cyclops in first turn but total dmg before that was not even half that.

Altho griffin dive with non-upgraded griffin seems to work ok for me...but hard to tell exactly which square is targeted if pointing to a large creature.

<little rant below>
UI is worse than H5/H3.  I have no probs with first town screen itself that serves no gaming purpose, but the whole game's interface seems more complicated & default keyboard shortcuts different from H5...I mean why do more work changing an interface if nothing wrong before??? <ok, lets get different game designers/developers every time who never played the other games in the series...>

It is not the tile in H6. It pursuits the creature. Even if it moves further somewhere, Griffins dive onto it. So it is a guaranteed damage.

When I restarted the game, the magic attack then started to show the true value.

In first mission of undead campaign, after some time, units become unrecruitable. Either there's real number of units shown or some weird numbers (like tens of thousands), but when I try to recruit, nothing happens.

Doesn't matter if it's normal recruitment or reraising fallen units.

Mission pretty much becomes unfinishable

Just installed, blew the video settings to max (have an ASUS GTX560, as well as 8 GB mem, under Win7), seems to work good. But right off the bat, the flickering cursor is driving me nuts.

Guess I will see how long I can hold out on that one; haven't even started playing and it's already annoying as heck.

-Flickering cursor.

-Tormentor & Lacerator Taste of Pain abillty is showen twice when you right click on the creature after he got attacked or he attacked.

-Not sure if it's a bug but when Mother Breeder shots the lmps from her mouth somehow the imps change their color from red to orange (like Breeder lmps).

-when Pit Lord is doing critical attack we can't see him doing the critical attack in the special screen.

-when Archlich die if you look close you can see some green dots which left after he died and they shouldn't be there.

-Abyssal Worm seems a little buggy,when you enter a battle (after buying the tower for the Abyssal Worm) the worm apper weridly in the battle field, and disapper weridly after winning.

-Not sure if it's a bug but Dreamwalker & Dreamweaver are tier 1 instead of 2 (you don't need upgraded town to recuit him).

-Chipmunk voice (I think the voice is a result of the combat speed when their is a critical attack the combat speed is lower and you can hear the creatures much clearer).

Somehow, my camera control managed to get stuck at one point while playing, so I could no longer freely roam the map; it kept stuck at whatever I had targeted, be it a Hero or a Town. Only clicking on the minimap enabled me to look around. Even dropping back to the main menu wasn't enough; I really had to quit the game and restart it, in order to fix this.

Whenever my Praetorians get next to an enemy stack (be it horizontally, vertically or diagonally), the enemy stack gets a visual effect as if they're gaining the extra defense provided by the Praetorians - but they're not actually gaining it (luckily). The same happens to my stacks against enemy Praetorians.

The flickering cursor seems to vary. Sometimes it's hardly present, sometimes it's visible to extreme annoyance.

Sveltana's voice acting is horrible.

When you expand the minimap, you get to see all sorts of nice details on the map. Why can't they be on the map by default?

When switching to the next day without visible enemies, you hardly notice the day switch. Compare this to Heroes 3, where you had both a visual effect (in the lower right corner) as well as an audio effect.

The current day - week - year is not shown below the minimap (which to me would be a logical place), but annoyingly only visible by right-clicking and holding on the hourglass. As far as I can remember, it was always visible by default in previous HoMM titles.

When attacking an enemy stack, you're given the option to attack or retreat. While this is a nice feature, you can't click or select the various creatures to examine their statistics. In other windows, you can, so why can't you do so in that window?

My god, could you post a link? I'm dying to play this

Also, maybe worth noticing, my friend could play the demo nicely on his laptop. I said it earlier but maybe not obviously enough.
Also, like mine, there's a lot of laptops out there with plenty of power. It's pretty naive to just rule out every mobile card :/
