I like the Dungeon town screen. It is mostly purple, but there are also blue and gray accents  . At least it's something that I didn't see coming (completely new art that is). I though it will look like the art presented in the story trailer. Most of the buildings are pretty much self-explanatory. Strangely, the town is not upside-down like in Heroes 5. Still, the best thing is we will probably get the first ever Heroes 6 town screen that actually resembles it's adventure map model. But that's what you get if you implement a basic thing like town screen into a Heroes game only after fans flaming...

They will most likely have access to earth and dark magic to heal their troops. I'm just speculating though. I think it would be strange if they had access to light (and fire for that matter).

I can't imagine why they should have access to Light when they are hurt by it.

Man and I was hyped when I saw the rakshasa creature in the artwort thread.
Anyway the townscreen looks okay in my opinion,it was to be expected to be purple,so I was prepared for this.

Ok guys, I'm thinking on going to the Dark Disco and meet some Shadow Dragons inside the purple light......mmm not really, looks scary, so much purple
It has some changes with respect to original artwork.
Dungeon Fort and Basic Town?

Towns and Forts don't have arrows under the flag. Only mines and external dwellings and some unique buildings (Hall of Raiders, Warpath Lodge and Crematorium) have it.

Yup, it was released 1 year ago at La Torre de Marfil Q&A...that's why I said meeting with Dragons, because that screenshot shows the ingame model of the Dragon Utopia

Sheesh, you guys just can't get over it with this purple
What did you expect, a black screen?
I actually like it's color palette, the town screen is gloomy and has this chilly feeling, like a deep underground city would have probably (if there were any). There's so much purple because it's the color of their energy or something, it seems Dark Elves are using this energy as a light source (just like Necros use this green poison-like-thingy to decorate their, well, everything ). Outside of that there's a lot of gray, blue and black.

There shouldn't be any direct light sources, purple, pinkish or otherwise! With HoMM 5 the Dungeon wasn't that much of a "Dark" faction, even though Malassa was their Dragon God alright.
In 6, however, they have gone out of their way to present all factions in quite a characteristic way. For the Dungeon, there is so much mentioning of Shadows and moving in them and Dark and absence of Light and Truth - their simply shouldn't be anything clearly and truly visible stuff there, only shadowy forms with deeper shadows in them.
So all that pinkish light is just plain dumb. Darkish purple for accents, and beyond that only shades of grey and black.
Someone should just put the light out on that screen.
