For everyone who does not know yet - the mod now has the page on Mod Database. If someone has an account there, feel free to subscribe (Track This Mod button) - it is convenient to watch the mod news there.

That's the official release. You can apply to the testers' team on the mod website to get the recent mod version, but the testing season is just opened and the next official version might not appear in 2013 at all.

Guys, please delete "1 " prefix from mod name.
Install mod archive via drag'n'drop in Mod Manager (easier then manual unpacking and adjusting).
Also I recommend creating mod_info.ini in mod directory with the following contents:
[info]
MM Version = 0.13.7.7
Era Version = 2.46
Caption = The Succession Wars Mod
Description File = description.txt
Author = XXX
Homepage = http://XXX
Icon File = h2succession.ico
Version = 1.X
Compatibility = None
[Compatibility]
Fast Battle Animation = -1
Secondary Skills Scrolling = -1
Yona = -1
Place mod short description in "descriptions.txt" file (it will be shown in mod manager).
Place 16x16 icon in h2succession.ico file. It will be displayed in mods list.

I know. :/ This is our main problem right now. I have made a ton of new graphics, Orzie helps me to advertise the mod, yet we don't have a programmer who can help us. I'm not going to release the next version for testing, unless a programmer can help us to fix the issues which also have been written out by testers on the forum and some sent to me via email. Therefore it's a shame that there is no one who could offer some help. Kegolo fixed the most important aspects, now it's just the leftovers from mister_kalu.

Maybe you should try to seek for help on the DF2 forum? I know many Russians enjoy your mod very much and some are programmers. That is a huge community so maybe..?

I don't know Russian, so I wouldn't be able to, but if you say so, I will ask Orzie if he could. I need to find somebody as soon as possible and I know that there are many programmers on this forum, but I guess they have their own things to do.

T'would be awful, fred79.
Programs like this should be used when all hope is gone unless you are translating from a Roman group language to another Roman group language.
I will write a detailed request in Russian there 10-12 hours after this moment.

Haha, that's the way to ruin your reputation. I would prefer to ask somebody nicely and have it written down properly in Russian, than using a translator.

No offense dude, I am Russian and I know that English translated via Google Translate sometimes can look weird, because Russian is a bit more complicated in syntax. It works a bit better if done vice versa, though.

I think VCMI is your only solution then. It don't need no coding at all.

VCMI seems like a no-brainer in the long run, but I believe for now, it's still dependent on WoG and its capabilities haven't even scratched the surface of what they are intended to be eventually. It would be a shame to put the project to a grinding halt and just sit around and wait for VCMI to get off the ground.
Having said that, I'm going to spend some time trying to pick up on WoG programming. I can't make any promises regarding my retention of it, but, I believe in this mod, and think it has a lot of potential.
