Haha, thanks, but I'm nothing more than a pixelartist who can edit already existing pictures. I am doing my best at the mod promo, currently

I've got some questions to you, actually.
Could you please tell me which new portraits are taken from other games? I got a report that some Gipsy ones are taken from War Wind 2, which must be dealt with - we are not likely to use pictures from other games, but likely to draw new ones on our own.

Also, where did you take Gipsy town music? It fits cool to the castle, but I suppose, it is also taken from another game

If you can remember any other things taken from games non-related to Might and Magic universe, please point us at them.

in fact, you are right, some portraits are from w2 (warwind 2 and wc2) but there are only 4 or 5. the other portraits i taken from heroes 2 pocket portable, and many others are from my own design.(alpha and beta models)

the music is from "fate: the cursed king", but also is a beta test music, is from my last release, some people ask me if I would changes between that song and any other of h2 price of loyalty, but i don't know, maybe isn't good idea.

programming the rest of the scripts of the mod isn't too difficult, but i don't know what  kivo need, i saw his last published beta and i found it very well, not perfect but ok in the some of the points, for example kegolo removes the battles against 20 zombies in the graveyard and ghost/skeletons in the derelict ship/ shipwreck, i don't agree , but if he is the guy on board. it doesn't matter

As far as I have been told, Kegolo is no longer participating in the project, and yes, I would like to return ghosts and skeletons to the ship

Thanks for the info, I guess we will be changing the portraits unrelated to HMM series, but the Gipsy music fits the town so cool that we don't know for sure. I doubt we will be able to compose the music comparable to it, so I think we will leave it intact for now.

Hi there. reporting a bug. In scenario Key to Victory, the blue gate in the underground (top side) it's easily passable, you can just walk around.

Hey, please report the inconsistencies via email to orzieorzie@gmail.com, or to the Official Website Beta Testers Topic.

There are literally hundreds of bugs in maps which are not converted to the mod format. The maps in the mod format have an Eye (WoG) icon.

The Extra Map Pack, which will be released soon (and likely - have your Quadruplets map as well), will also include the fixed version of previously created maps in the mod format.

Some graphic updates definitely worth your while.

Started reworking Fortress heroes and also adding new heroes from scratch.



There is also some teasing stuff about the upcoming Inferno, but we are likely to show it in very limited amounts for now.

New Devil style (pretty questionable I suppose, but your opinion does matter for us of course)

Some words about the upcoming Extra Map Pack:

We are really close to the release of the pack.
Currently there are already many maps done, converted from Heroes 1, Heroes 2 and remastered Heroes 3.
But our list is not completed for now. We haste to end the pack up to the New Year holidays.

Kreegan concept is canonical and thus good, but not so 'bad-ass' like the Heroes 3 Devil. However, a variant like this still makes sense.

Introducing... THE FROG OF ENROTH!



According to the information on Acid Cave website, there was an unused creature in Heroes of Might and Magic II. This giant toad is very well drawn and was most probably intended to be the second level of Wizard castle instead of the current Boar.

But any The Succession Wars Mod player can easily guess what castle this creature fits the most.

We are going to draw the full animation for it and such. The attack style of the toad is still discussed.

Too bad the Acid Cave is suspended. Yes, it was a HMMII creature according to the info there.

Also, there was an extra graveyard object in HMMII, which could be placed in map editor only with the help of special utility.

Finally, with the great help of OxFEA we managed to restrict the classic map directory for the game.
Now the map list will be looking neat and no more confusing the players who occasionally launch SoD maps which are not converted.

The upcoming Extra Map pack will change the situation in such way that only the new maps will be visible.
So that the problems with coloring and/or HMM2 mark on maps stated in the beginning of this thread will no longer be problems.

It is more likely for poison spitting, with limited amount of charges and only for upgraded form. I cannot imagine a tongue that long - H3 battlefield is much larger. For H2 it would work I think.

why would it need a distance attack? a one-hex attack would be fine. (of course, an all-around tongue-slap attack would be hilarious, though)
