The last of our promo screenshots will be special.
There, you can see new interface elements resembling HD Mod interfaces. Now we are to elaborate: this is actual Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Succession Wars, launched with HD Mod. Players who got used to playing on a big screen and to benefit from HD tweaks and programming adjustments will definitely appreciate this new feature.
Unfortunately, many new HD features as well as whole HD+ functionality are currently unavailable for the platform of H3SW. Probably, something will change in future, given the careful approach in implementation of new features for H3SW, which might allow us to conduct a constructive dialogue with the creator of HD Mod.
P.S. All previous screenshots were made in a more "exhibitory" or "demonstrative" manner, so the maps used will not be encountered in the actual game. However, the image attached below was made from a real map of H3SW map list (v0.8 stable beta). If you can guess the map - reward yourself with the Medal of Distinction

In Heroes 2, the coastal waves exist on 2 squares. For H3SW it's only 1 square, unfortunately, because Heroes 3 is technically simplified on that point and we don't have time for such a minor feature.

Our own perception of Heroes 3: The Succession Wars Mod is that it is worth a 10/10, which is closer to Heroes 3 (8.75) than to Heroes 6 (1.125) or Heroes 7 (-2).
We really consider you have kept the "soul" of the Heroes series, delivered a huge amount of contents (hours of gameplay, quantity and variety of assets), and also pushed all the levers of the game to 120% - graphics, story, atmosphere layer (with the addition of the Heroes 2 assets), strategy on the adventure map (reduction of obfuscation, addition of the Heroes 3 engine and new town features), tactics on the combat map (improved hex grid, more variety for the battle conditions and objectives, classic heroes).

This may yet turn out to be my default way to play Heroes. I'm a Heroes II man for life, but appreciate the improvements of Heroes III so there's no reason for me not to play this instead.
The mere underground icon would be enough to keep me craving for this. So many quality hours ahead! Thank you guys for being talented and for having the will to put your talent to work.
