Think you'll find Melkor got his fair share of influence from some guy called Satan.
There is no Satan in Tolkien's universe
There's no Melkor in Erwan's universe
So we agree the one didn't influence the other
Um, no? That's not what influence means.
Then what did you initially mean by influence then....
Could you please cut down quetes to bare minimum?

So light is weak against dark. How novel.

Actually, I understand it more like Haven is good vs Necropolis, but weak against Dungeon.

Gold Dragons?
Make a dragon unit representing each dragon god and Heroes VII is GOTY for me...
But seriously, if this was the case this game would really gain in my eyes. I would even forgive devs for those Sylvan and Dungeon line-ups...

It reminds me of H3. Remember Black Dragons winning the day over Titans or Gargoyles and Golems not affected by Vampire's life drain ?
As for the Gold Dragon I believe the hype is more about the "rare and legendary neutral" aspect, that I appreciate too
EDIT : I can't wait make to see the Minotaur tasting my Swordmaster's strike !

I like it, not only it makes you think harder but try extra hard against "bad" match ups.

Lore-wise it is sensible but it seems multiplayer and competitive gameing is afterthought. Gameplay that is purposefully imbalanced against certain factions is no good. I would prefer if a certain playstyle be more effective against another faction but all factions should have the possibility to adapt these elements into their strategy. As long as it's moral or evasion then it's okay but if it's something ratial then it's no good.

What are the strongest core and elite units of Haven then?
I like the distinction between the two champions but not sure about the argument they would use for Hydra vs Black Dragon...

Maybe I am not reading this right, but, when it says "dwellings are upgradeable"... Considering this is said after it talks about external dwellings, I am lead to believe that the external dwellings are upgradeable as well? I remember they said something about upgradeable forts, but also upgradeable external dwellings... that might be helpful in the long run.

The way the text was written makes me think that externals can be upgraded also.
