Riddles
Some riddles for the break between two heroes games 
Let´s try this:
On your way to downtown you see a croud of men. You can see two walking in front of two, two walking between two and two walking behind two. How many men do ya see?

Six men.
Now, take a look at my riddle.
You're flying on a plane over the ocean. You throw out two bags at the same time. A 10kg bag of feathers and a 10kg bag of iron. Which bag will hit the ground first?

Edit; here's one of mine
A farmer and his hired help were carrying grain to the barn. The farmer carried one sack of grain and the hired help carried two sacks. Who carried the heavier load and why?

The farmer cause the hired help only carried sacks... Why did that farmer hire him anyway? To carry sacks and not the grain?.. Bah!

This is one for Woock since he is so "into" the english language!@ ;p
There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?

Aight here's one....
A man lives on the 23rd floor of an apartment building....WHen he gets up in the morning he walks down the stairs, out of the building and goes to work...when he gets back from work, he takes the elevator to the 12th floor and walks the rest of the way up to his apartment room. Why doesn't he just take the elevator al; the way up??
P.S.: He doesn't have a mental problem or anything...and yes he can count! so those arent the reasons he isn't going to direct 23rd floor with the elvator

is it because he's not tall enough to reach the 23rd floor button, and that the highest he could reach is the 12th floor button?

You´ve got 2 glasses of wine. One with red wine, the other one with white wine.
No you take a spoonful of the white into the red glas, stir this and then you take a spoonful from this stired one back into the white.
Now the question: Is there more white wine in the red glas than red wine is in the white glas or is it the other way around or is it equal?

Just the fact that I am good at english doesn't mean I'm "into the english language"!
And right now I only know that the one letter word of the riddle is "a". Off to look for two letter words containing "a" .

Haha, if the glasses were both clear to begin with, then that means there is no longer any white and red glass at all, so neither one does.
Now if the glasses themselves were colored, was the white wine originally in a red glass, and the red in white, or both in red or white? Maybe it was white with red polka dots! ...so then maybe the white you take and put into the red glass is the same glass? If that's the case, then the red glass obviously has more white wine...unless someone came along and drank it all.
However, if just considering two different glasses, and assuming that the white you're talking about in the first place, is white wine, then assuming also that the spoonfuls are equal, and contains less volume than half of the filled cup, then the cup with originally white wine will still have more white wine, if after some was mixed with the red wine and poured back.
I'm not sure about the different densities of each, but if it was significant enough, actually when you pour the white wine into the red wine, it is possible that after you mix it, you can wait for the layers to seperate, or actually just place another liquid of a density between the two wines, so that is more easily seperates. Then you can just scoop out the white wine back from the top, since as I believe if this is possible, the white wine would probably be less dense because of the lack of the skin peels and such, and then it will be so that ideally, all the white wine is back in the original glass. Thus, the white wine glass still has more white wine.
...now I assume one of my answers must be correct...
