Just wanted to add that crazy match with the firetraps and necro v haven a while back was so fun to watch and crazy. Too bad Haven didn't train the 20 troops, it would have been really interesting then!

I played with Azagal, and the match is very tight.
FIRST GAME: HAVEN vs. SYLVAN

SECOND GAME: SYLVAN vs. STRONGHOLD

So the score is 1-1. I'm in a hurry (those maths), so we'll play the last game tommorow. I'll aso post the replays then.

OMG!! THE SUSPENSE!!!
1:1 And Zamfir is leaving~~~~ gaaaaah oO!!
Matches were not that even I believe... first was Haven (Zamfir) vs. my Sylvan. Had swiftmind+summoning+phantom forces which could be killer but the atm bar ****ed things up for me . And to top things of his Griffins speed battle dive with good morale before my arcanes get to do anything:'(.
But yeah he pretty won that one clearly.
Next match was my Stronghold vs. his Sylvan. Hmm he had asked me to not play orcs since he didn't have much experience countering them. But yeah well... it's just that I play Stronghold very often . And Haven would have been boring and fortress wouldn't have been an option since he doesn't want me to them aswell :S. So yeah in the end I pulled it off with the orcs. The victory was pretty crushing if you ask me but I think that was more due to his indecisive build (imbue destruction with warmachines but no triple imbued ballista) than my brilliant planning. I hope he'll have the replays for you.
And now INTO THE FRAY!!

Well, I have the replays, and I'll upload them tommorow. Sadly, I am quite busy now.
A few comments on the second duel:
It was a very hard defeat (I said that the whole match is tight, not a particular duel). My eperience with stronghold is actually inexistent. In this battle I saw for the first time high tiers in action.
I foolishly took destructive, because I was not sure how the orc immunity work - big mistake.

Actually destructive can be a pretty solid choice but only as long as you specialize in it. You must focus against orcs and press them hard or their rage will go up again.

Two more losses for Sylvan? I'm seeing a pattern emerging. They are fun to play but apparently not strong in this duel setup.

You've gotta be kidding me Sylvan is very strong here, you'd get more accurate results if everyone here knew all factions well.

Actually Sylvan is one of the more overpowered factions - at least in this Duel the favored enemies are not that good (not high level)
Oh and you two had the same matchups as I and Elvin did lol (Haven vs Sylvan and Sylvan vs Orcs)

I gotta be kidding you? I have seen Sylvan in 4 matches with the latest duel, and they haven't won.
Um...what is the joke I am missing? Its entirely possible that the people just don't know how to play Sylvan well. Its also entirely possible they are a weak faction relative in this situation.
In any case, they have lost 4 times in a row that I've seen. A pattern is emerging, this is indisutable. What it means is up for debate.

Maybe try some Sylvan vs Necro match
(remember my crushing match in the first tournament?)
Sylvan is pretty IMBA if you ask me... it has some very overpowered alternative upgrades (Arcane Archer & High Druid)
Maybe Sylvan is not that good versus Stronghold & Haven...

Against stronghold it depends on the build but against haven it's good enough.

Sorry didn't mean to sound grumpy, you guys know more about the game than I do. I really love Sylvan as a faction, I thinks its fun to play because you can do strong might builds and strong magic builds thanks to the druids. I think Stronghold and Haven require Dark to be strong against, and Sylvan doesn't get dark.
The old rain of arrows + frenzy trick would be neat to see in action!
