I finally played my duels (sorry for my unavailability Dagoth):
The first one was Sylvan (me) vs. Fortress (Dagoth), a fast victory for me thanks to some good lucky strikes and a powerful resurrection. We didn’t save the replay for this game.
The second duel was Inferno (me) vs. Dungeon (Dagoth), a very fast duel too but a bit more difficult for me cause every single dungeon unit did a ton of damage against my poor infernal troops and I don’t play inferno at all. DOWNLOAD REPLAY

Great game FB, wish you had saved the Sylvan one. Love watching inferno kick butt like that...you must have had some nice attack and luck because your units did killer damage.

Good battle replay. That move with the nightmares decreasing blackie morale was great  What I did not get was why the assassins attacked the hydras but Final Boss would have won eventually.

They don't show frenzied, also last spell Nebiros cast was puppet on the hydras.

Nice replay, so many lucky shots 
As for the Assassins, nope they were not mind-controlled. Dagoth attacked the Hydras with them (because the hydras were considered as enemy because of Puppet Master), but I have no idea why. Could be a misclick or something...

14 AT, expert attack, expert luck, battle frenzy and hellfire .

Thanks Elvin  . I thought the same about those assassins, but Dagoth did similar things against Asheera so I thought that move was so awesome that my little mind couldn’t understand it .

If so it won't be a miracle, I have long stated that anything can happen in a duel  Bad thing with H5 is that unlucky atb can and will lose you games that you should normally win.

Well I've had my problems with it . It has happend to me twice that I've started only one move before the enemy here who didn't have swiftmind.... Sucks, I have no idea how that happens. Sometimes my hero is the first to act sometimes it's as if I don't have it at all (and the other hero didn't have empathy either).

Did you know that, if the ATB favors you, and you have Swift Mind + Expert Sorcery (or even better, if you cast a Mass spell) + Empathy and some 2-4 creatures who act before the enemy hero and get Morale, your hero can act twice before the enemy hero?
Imagine the pain for your opponent in this case.

Yeah I'm bored Here's what I have come up so far:
Duel Map 3.4
Extra terrain battlefields beyond the one way teleporters in the open. The desert area is now a snow road that is in truth a dwarven underground in disguise - don't ask why
Armies are now unupgraded so I have added extra gold for upgrades. That issue was discussed back in the first version and while it didn't really matter at the time now with 2 artifact merchants it is important that you don't waste money needlessly. Also ensures you won't forget to retrain some units
Decided to resolve the haven training issue by capping the maximum paladins at 25. They are enough to do the job and you can still train some vindicators or zealots according to your needs. So no training over 13 priests please.
Some balance tweaks: After playing a few games with sq79 and talking about arena balance he mentioned the costs in armies and buildings and I realized that stronghold with everything upgraded and army bought costs almost 20k more than a fully upgraded sylvan. No wonder orcs had the upper hand.. Then there's the dwarves that also cost a lot in resources and gold, haven I ha already decreased starting paladins by 2.
Here is what I have come up so far to remedy the situation.
Orcs: -1 cyclops, -2 wyverns
Dwarves: -1 magma, -4 battleragers
I have not done much testing yet with these changes so any help or suggestions would be welcome.
