Lol, I did! And you just proved my point! Apart from the fact that you double cast it on Squires ( ) you got 26 mana from it! And how long did that take? Forever? Imagine you raising those Vamps 4 turns earlier with that Helm! Imagine constant raising with intelligence!
btw, who was it that said to cast MotN while they still have mana left? hohoho

@Elvin: Did you see my last replay with Phoenix with Necro vs Fortress? That was a lot of mana (Intelligence to a total of 195 mana + Arcane Training) and I had no MotN
So MotN is useful IF you can't get anything better like Intelligence/Arcane Training, but this is a very rare case for a Necro (you usually take Enlightenment and/or Sorcery)

In my defense I was a bit hard pressed to use it earlier, you just have to find the right moment. About using it twice I can only say that I had a lesson of microeconomics before that

Ive finally finished my games with Phoenix - 2-0 for me.
1st was Mine Dungeon vs his Inferno unfortunately no replay but you guys know how such duels looks...
2nd was Mine Fortress vs his Dungeon. Haste + Retribution makes wonders

A sad outing for me. Only had the cloak...and only advanced destructive which I sold off to the mentor in return only for 1 skill.

That is correct but you missed the part where I mentioned it in the thread 3 times No they were not paired with each other but they both had one match missing so it was a convenient solution for me.
Edit: On the dungeon match all I can say is 4 units one circle. There was no need to gate, in fact it worked against phoenix.

That Dungeon vs Fortress was just pure massacre... also, odd choosing of units  I'm talking about Brisk Raiders and Minotaur Guards.
I really don't get the Minotaur Guards fans... statistics (without abilities) show that the Taskmaster is around 90% better. So, unless you attack only creatures with no retaliation (and deal double damage with the Guards because of double attack and no retaliation in-between the attacks), Taskmasters are way better. Even in the previous case with no retaliations, dealing double damage = 100% increase in power, which is just a little better than 90%.
Also the Taskmasters have more hit points and that's important for Dungeon, to survive more so that the hero can blast away more enemy troops.

We only needed to play one match for points. When I was dungeon I was just screwing around trying to do an unconventional build but the random didn't cooperate.
In any event no matter which alternates I had it wouldn't have mattered.

We've played our duels with Azagal, turned out 2:0 in my favour
Necro vs Academy
I now think that Elemental Gargs were a mistake as Az proved me in his first turn
I expected this to be a long fight, considering me going Light with crazy initiative and Righteous Might, imagine my surprise when I saw my Enlightened Wizard having 1 att Azagal was aiming for Ignite and if he got it then I would be in deep trouble. Howevever mentor didn't provide him with it (duh). And I got Magic Mirror for my last 2500gold
Sylvan vs Stronghold
Exp Shatter destr + 50% mana cost was a missed shot. No retribution as well. Wait did I say no retribution? Then where did my insane damage come from? Dragon Greavers for the initiative boost and Azagal's Stormwind made it all easier for me, making Wyverns act right after Pristines were killed, hehe. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw the ATB  And I forgot to visit castle for Warcries, didn't matter anyway.
Hopefully Az will post the replays soon

1st game between me and rubycus is done... here is the replay.. me as orcs and him as necro.. i went for shatter dark.. had 25% resistance.. and generally anti-spell

Blindness is never a good choice vs Stronghold because of Word of the Chief (both hero's and chieftain's)

It went pretty bad I could have played better. I had people disturbing me all the time, so my mind was kind of disturbed... Also, I didn't have dark Magic, so blindness wasn't powerful at all. The reason why I got blindness was because of Magic Insight and Book of Power.
EDIT: The biggest reason for his victory was his initiative.
