Maybe I will consider it for new season but there is a better option. Have a quest give you money in return for your treants

What's so bad about Treants? If used well they can even save the Arcanes/Druids from getting blocked by entangling an enemy fast unit that is approaching.
And their alternative deals some massive damage while still having a very good durability (after using Rage of the Forest). Treants also die very hard and the Sylvan hero has very good spellpower (thanks to High Druids) so a longer fight does benefit, well most of the time at least.
In real games I can understand if Treants are not a good option because their dwelling is very expensive in wood, but here...

I think treants are pretty swell too because of their sweet tanking and the awesome utility of entangling roots. In fact I love the entire Sylvan line-up. SQ just hates trees because he hates nature  , and is too impatient to wait for the treants to take their turn. It takes awhile to translate elvish into treant, so their orders are always delayed.

Not exactly  He feels that they don't fit the lineup since he relies in blitz tactics and also that they get in the way of others. He hasn't lost with sylvan in two years about the time he stopped building treants. COINCIDENCE..?!

This ain't no map baby. It's a single battle to the death. SQ has think outside of his memorized patterns. I can't possibly see taking 20 treants out of a fight being worth it, it just sounds completely insane. Granted, he killed me before in the duel with it, but that was against a junky summoning necro.
Not saying I know sylvan better than him, but it just seems like he's acting out of habit and it's hampering him.

I don't hate treants, but every unit gotta be efficient in their job.
For me building a sylvan force is always about swift strike and fast attacks. When sylvan wins, most think they're overpowered because they won too fast ? But that's just sylvan. I remembered during 1.0 days till hof, everyone was talking about how lousy sylvan was compared to the rest, yet as toh progressed, suddenly everyone is complaining about them as overpowered Why was that so ??? Because they didn't bring treants to battle In duels, its 3600+ of useless unstrikable hitpoints standing occupied 4 precious tiles 
Come to think of it, i did lost with sylvan actually quite a few times and suicided alot of course

Or maybe because of either the overpowered alternative upgrades or Wyngaal in HoF which was ridiculous.
I mean, Wind Dancer, Arcane Archer ( ), High Druid (), Pristine Unicorn... those are just too overpowered compared to the other upgrades, and other races didn't get so many overpowered creatures.

Well this is kinda off-topic though but I only play Dungeon well on full maps. First is because I don't play TotE that much and thus I can't gain experience with every faction, and second, I am of the opinion that one that plays only one faction is better with it than another that plays all of them, given the same learning skills for both players in this example of course. I mean, why shouldn't I play dungeon and possibly gain new tactics, strategies and experience with it instead of trying something else? Sure some may say that it's a lot more fun to play more but as I said I don't play TotE much so playing only dungeon doesn't bore me.
Ok now please let's stop this off-topic, and that treant discussion can also be held in some other thread, such as the duel tactics one.
