I find it refreshing when a candidate loses their election and finds the ability to speak truth to power. Unfortunately, it seems to be the only time conservatives can actually speak the truth.

Yeah, I know I'm part of the problem some what, but at the same time, I just get incredibly frustrated when I see people waste time on this. Elodin has consistently shown time and time again that he's not going to listen to anyone else's arguments because we're the enemy, and even trying to engage him on a respectable intellectual level is utterly hopeless.
Apart from anything else, think about it. he bemoans the "Mod bias" and the "poor Moderation of the forums", and when the mods have actively started to take the piss out of him, a sensible person would see that complaining is getting them nowhere and leave... unless they weren't being a d*** for the sake of being a d***.
again, you are welcome to try and prove me wrong on this, and I sincerely hope you succeed, but from where I'm standing, trying to argue with him is like trying to water-pistol a brick wall.

You know what I think I'll go ahead and bow out of the OSM, at least for some time. It will never change as long as the current moderators are here and they won't be going anywhere. Ya'll have fun with the Christian bashing, conservative bashing, and America bashing. And I'm sure there will still be plenty of fun to be had insulting me here for a while too. But after a while all the back patting will probably get old. Peace.

Cleaned the last 2 pages.
Stop using the OSM Feedback for personal battle fields.
And to those who asks for better or new moderators, I have one thing to tell: All we would need, is someone who can handle 1st graders appropriate, then the OSM would maybe turn into a better place.
Everything what happens here is kindergarten. "MUUUUMMMMM...he picked my arm!...DAAAAD...he sayed I am small!....*tears dropping...tons....of...*
Just learn to ignore things, then your life in the OSM will become better immediately.

If you're already that low so all you can bring in is making fun out of typing/grammar errors in posts of non native english writers, than the respect for you will decrease immensely.

Bringing fun to a place like this isn't just "all" he can do it's what sets him apart from most of us. And why we love him so much.

This article was stupendous. I'm dissappointed but not surprised that I've not heard of this gentleman before. He's far too sane and reasonable to garner any degree of recognition in the current hysterical political climate he so eloquently describes.

Was my post seriously deleted from here? Really? On what grounds if I may ask?
A friend told me that I should link my comment to the issue I was commenting on and I told him that what I'm referring to is so blatantly obvious that if it had to be pointed out to someone it was too late for that person anyway since he/she wouldn't get it.
Unfortunately it seems he was right so far whether I was right remains to be seen.
"If I post something blatantly obvious yet somewhat compassionate about people in general and drop the word gay somewhere do I get a QP too?" is what I said. I'm obviously referring to the QP just handed out to Mvass. Meaning no disrespect to our friend mvass that post isn't worth a QP in my most humble oppinion. If you look at his post you'll see that while he's right in what he says it's as obvious as it gets. We live in the 21th century for crying out loud that isn't news. Seeing how many a post didn't qualify for the "top 2%" as some people like to say I do by no means see how mvass post is in any form a show of stellar intellect or new fresh thoughts. I'm not saying it's bad I'm just saying it's incredibly generic. Of all the posts in there his gets one lol? For what? Tell me. For being all huggy and understanding lol?
Dagoth got one too now and it's lightyears ahead of mvass post. No offense.

The whole thread is filled with good posts, especially Ohforh's, and mvass got a QP because mysti agreed with him. I found that so absurd I laughed.
But seriously, deleting azzie's (hilarious)comment here, was there really need for that?
I wasn't going to mention that expect for luls but seriously?
