At a certain point I agree with you, but not with this example. this example wasn't really a matter of opinion imo but rather common knowledge, at least thats how i view it. To an extent political correctness is pretty cool to better get to communicate with each other without seeming like a total snow. I wouldn't run around calling everyone ín the streets idiots all day, am I too PC since i wouldn't?

thats just a simple patch for hearthstone lol, not too sure if i would suspect regime changes coming out of that one  Still nothing to get upset about imo. pretty sure the change was made to make the game more inclusive as hearthstone has a pretty big audience altoghether, and the view of non men in the gaming community is/has been historically pretty bad overall so the changes are welcome to me at least. Still is pretty weird that they didn't go all in since they changed it to begin with

Except that the traffic light guy story is nonsense. No one wants to change this for the existing lights, only new ones may get "female" motives here and there - except that's not true either, since the 20 year old motives showing a girl with a dress and braids have been criticized as not in line with the current idea of female looks and have been rejected by women.

Yet that doesn't stop the minority in question from literally throwing the word left and right. Just listen to the music or conversations. But hey, as long as it is used only by these people it's ok right?

I'm not upset. I find it funny and sad at the same time. Political correctness biggest issue imo is that while covering behind "what is just" it dabbles in the small things which ultimately lead to a state where even the most trivial things become a point of controversy which lead to ruthless attacks on others. I'm not talking about mobbing based on gender in a workplace which is a serious issue and should be mitigated. I'm talking about people ganging up on others just because sth doesn't fit their moralistic "rulebook" (for example just enter SJW + Magic the Gathering in search).
I think you are not aware of how serious backlashes some people are getting because of something called misguided justice, when related to political correctness issues.

Obviously, some things are also diminished by filing them under "political correctness" - the term as such is doubtful already, because it implies that it's not "correctness", but only POLITICAL correctness, and "political" has mostly a hegative connnotation.
For example - you may say, in these days it's politically correct to drive some hybrid car. But of course, everyone knows that driving a 400 HP SUV with 30 miles electric range extender won't do much for the ecology.
So the issue already starts with the phrasing.

And that's what I'm afraid of. I am truly horrified how easy it is to be targeted with false accusations, with no way to defend yourself. I'm seriously afraid that there will come a day that I will say/do one thing too many and be faced with unpleasantries, because currently I don't see any way to defend against the SJW movement.

Now where I do agree with your worries are the consequences of false accusations. They can be devastating. They harm both men and women who have truly been sexually assaulted.

Actually with this statement you are doing EXACTLY the same thing as what you're claiming I'm making here @Minion. You are formulating a biased opinion on the account of (probably) thinking that I'm some kind of a withdrawn person, based on a view that every SJW-hater is some backwards person, that literally sees only the bad things in this movement through reading/hearing only bad things about them. Like I stated on some occasions I'm not against their values, but against the insanity that is starting to gather around them. I also live in a healthy environment with intelligent people who fortunately know how to take a joke (you need to take my word on that). Fortunately I don't live in America or some other highly educated country where what you "must" say is literally shoved into your throat from various directions. In my country we still have relative freedom to say what we think.
I hope what you said is only an exaggeration to add flavor to your point, not something you actually believe in. I hope you don't think SJW opponents are totally biased people who can't see good in some of their values, not counting the "warped things" they twisted them into.
The point I'm bringing this all up is because every time I see something SJW's are involved in, it brings censorship, injustice and insanity. I don't want to believe it, but there are too many accounts of it being true. This is dangerous I tell you, and it might lead to some damaging and irreversible changes in society, even to the one your claiming to be relatively safe. For now at least.

Fully agree with Sal on this one. Don't give in to people trying to shut you up or demean you for whatever reason, blob2. If you see bull****, point it out without fear. It's the only way to keep things from spiraling down further. Hit them with reason. But at the same time, choose your battles. Some voices are worth arguing with because they really believe in what they say, some just troll around throwing quick derogatory jabs just to spill vitriol. Not worth wasting your time.
