Hey, Ashrah, hello and all. but just a couple of things.
1. this is about mini factions. if you want more information got to the start of the thread and look over Vokials rules fo it.
2. its fine to air your veiws, the more the better, i reckon. but please do it in the opreate places, like the suggestion for factions, for instance.

Orcs for a races = cool, I will post my ideas on an orc town later.
A 3th or town.
So there will be 3 orc towns in the next Expansion:
Stronghold (bixie's one)
Settlement (my orc town)
and your town (change your avatar, the currently is ugly  )

no, only one will make it into the expansion, KD, and, frankly, it doesn't look good for either of us.
Ashrah may have a good idea or two about it, let the younger generation carry the torch (ashrah), when the older generation get too lazy to carry it (me)
btw, don't make fun of peoples faces, the slugs will never here the end of it in that case.

Why only one? The story shoud be there is 1 orc faction (but already cannot be played), but it has been split so there is 3 orc factions (they can be played).

a thought has struck me (or was it a stone)
i think we should have mini town heroes. they are ultimately weaker than normal heroes, as most of the skills don't go passed advanced setting and only the three basic subskills. however they have a racial skill that goes up to expert and 4 other skill the go up to expert. they also have 4 points to spend on primary skills (attak, defence, spellpower, knowledge).
i think that its a good idea, but what do you think?

i know how you feel bixie, the "younger generation", i remember when that was me, it was at a good time, people like Sindbad, Vokial, Baklava and Alc, where still here (thats always good), although it was before GL, before bixie, even before KD, i mainly talked to wacther 83, then he stopped posting, then you guys (in reverse order) came along, but anyway i will stop spamming this thraed now

I guess date of my joining to HC is among the elder half 
Anyway, about expansions,. I wouldnt like to think that H6 will be here anytime soon, i would prefer expansion (or two) over a new game. I hope that ppl at Nival will create much more content for H5 more than i hope for eventual H6.

we need some racial skills though!
but i have a few (i always do!)!
um... right, lets start at the begining
halflings, um..., Taunt- makes people lose initative as they are distracted by the halflings crass, foul and often laughable insults!
trolls, um... Trollism! (name to be changed, however, cannot thing of one1)- due to hardship during life, trolls are now tougher and more resistant to damage, along with stronger. (Small attack and defense bonuses)

ok, it was just an idea! the only other option is to add more races, as they are universally thin. it would also give us a chance to explore the differences in culture between all the races! still, it was just an idea, and Vokial likes it! if you don't like it ted, then thats your point of veiw, its not like you've created a town, though!

Ok ... I got hit by the idea of a  Chinese faction!!!
I mean: Think about all the samurais, ninjas, and (of course) DRAGONS!  
But it's more! At Homm: Hof there are fortress ... But, what if there was VIKINGS? You know those big barbars in north!
And mabye put some nordic myth in it, like that gigantic wolf?
And at last: Some kind of Underwater faction ... Some of you have been talking about Pirates or something like it, but that is on top of the water, and my idea is the things that lies below them 
Sea monsters, big monster fishes, and some of those bastards from Pirates of the Carabean
What do you think?
