To be exact about stacking 2 rings, the story is a little more complex (everything here is for ToE):
- 2 rings of celerity (+10% init each) give +20% init
- 2 rings of speed (+20% init each) do NOT stack: total effect is still +20% init
- A bunch of other rings do stack, giving double effect: ring of Vitality (+2HP*2=+4HP), Dragon Eye ring, cursed ring (total -4 enemy luck), ring of the Broken Will (total -4 enemy morale), ring of caution.
The ring of Lightning Protection also stacks, using the protection formula: 1-P=(1-P1)*(1-P2), which here simplifies as P1=P2=0.5, giving a total protection of 75%.
- Elemental Waistband (gives Summon Elemental and a +4 spellpower bonus to cast it - before applying the mastery multiplier)
the Elemental Waistband does NOT stack: the spellpower bonus is always +4, and NOT +8. Note that the ring was buggy in previous versions, but it seems to work correctly in ToE. As a side note, it does not give the Summon Elemental spell to Barbarians, which have thus no use of it.
- Ring of Sar-Issus (spell costs reduced by 50%)
2 rings do not stack (reduction is still 50%).
- Ring of the Unrepentant (Immunity to Word of Light)
Obviously, 2 rings do not bring more...
- Ring of Banishment (Grants "Banish". Reduces enemy Summoning spells: Summon Elementals summons only half of the Elementals, conjured Phoenix, Blade Barrier and Hive have only half of their usual Hit Points)
2 rings do NOT reduce the enemy spells further. Note that Barbarians do not receive the Banish ability (maybe because it's not in their skill tree).
- Ring of Machine Affinity
Adds +1 to Hero's defense: effect DOUBLED with 2 rings
the other bonuses (additional shot for Ballista and Catapult, Tent healing doubled, Ammo Cart increases shooter's attack by +4) do NOT stack.

Well yes your are right some stack like the Cursed Ring(i've personaly tested it)And some don't like the ring of warmachines if you have 2 rings it will give you 2 defence instead of 1 but not increase the other things like the extra shot for ballista and catapult. And for ring of speed i'm not sure.I'll try to test it

Pretty much anyone can get 4 shots with that ring and triple ballista, yes. Quite devastating with Flaming Arrows, although it's unlikely you'll get more than one turn on the Ballista - the enemy will kill it quickly when seeing what it can do.

A thing I noticed about our orc heroes:
The hero called: Kragh(The pounder guy) Look at that name. I think it should be pronounced: Crag (hack). I actully think that hero is a hint to the old Hero!
And another one(This one has nothing to do with other heroes just a little thing):
Urghat(the pathfinder girl): Urgash , have you ever heard of him? Urg(gash)hat. Its weak but still there
same with Haggash, Ur-Gash! The is gash is all over the place!

LOL! Emilsn you're so funny Uhm, what points exactly are we trying to make here? Oh wait, there's more! Kilghan = Kilgor. And Kujin maybe related to Kunyak (Ku being the surname)? Dear me...

I heard somewhere that Maahir is Cyrus when he was young, so that would make him Zehir's father.

That would actually be quite inpossible in the "Maahirs Gambit" scenario you get to play Maahir (duh...) and well it's set 820 and in the end of the War of the Brokes Staff (Necromancers vs. Wizards) Maahir is the big Hero and becomes First of the Circle. It doesn't say anything about name changing though... but well Queen Isabels war is in 969 which is 149 years after that... now lets say Maahir (Cyrus to be) is 21 in the campaign that would make him 170 years old when we get to play Zehir!! That be ehm kind of old...I don't know how long wizards live but even with freaky youth spells and poisons that would be ab biiit too much no?

You never know, I mean Gavin Magnus was over 1000 years old while ruling Bracada, and of course we have random heroes like Zoltan and Eruina flitting around at different times during history when really they should be staying in Queen Isabel's War.

Hmmm well that is a point but aren't Raven and Zoltan dead anyway? I mean Arantirs is centuries old (in case he didn't lie to Sareth) and hes dead.... right? I mean they've all crossed the boarder and turned into Undeads... but anyway it's a fantasy game so I guess it is possibel that Cyrus is Maahir.

Markal, Arantir, Zoltan and Raven are still living beings (well, during their respective appearances at least). They're not undead at all. Only the creatures they raise and command possess that trait.

Well ok Markal certainly is Human, about Raven and Zoltan im not sure but Arantir has to be undead... If he isn't the "Humans" in this game a seriously overaged oO. I mean in case you've played Dark Messiah Arantir :"So it comes to this. My centuries of effort against you skant two decades as a demonic diletant". He simply can't be human in my opinion.
