yes it works. I discovered it in ToK.

water elemental :
- ice bolt and circle of winter : 14 + 14 x power

genie :
- arcane crystal : 15 + 15 x power

artificer :
- fire traps : 12 traps, 6 + 6 x power

inquisitor :
- magic fist : 20 + 20 x power
- holy word : 11 x power

horned overseer :
- explosion : 14 x power

frost death :
- deep freeze : 18 + 18 x power, 1.03 +0.3 x power

symbiotic treant :
- wasp swarm : 17 + 17 x power -0.6 atb

war mage :
- call lightning : 4 x number of bears

fire master :
- fire chain : 11 + 11 x power

stone lord :
- stone spikes : 18 + 18 x power

azure dragon :
- mass bloodlust : 1 x power attack, 0.5 turn

master mage :
- arcane armour : 100 x power, 100% protection
- haste : +100% initiative, 1 x power turns

OK about the opportunity of using the useless original mastery.

This is a great idea, especially if it really works.

but, did you modify stats about others (normal ones) mastery spell too?

no I didn't modify the original spells.
except explosion, call lightning and call of the storm
but I'm actually wondering if slow should be modified to 10% / 20% / 30% / 40% like haste instead of 25%/ 30% / 35% / 40%

*except* .... so you has modify originals stats for spell too...

Fauch, I say you can do what you want about extra expert spell, about stats of your 3rd upgrades...

but please, great please, make also a version which will not absolutly touch originals stats for originals creature and originals mastery spells. A version which will not alter the original gameplay.

a NCF mod doesn't must alter the gameplay. This is just new creatures not a personal vision about others stats of the game.

So, make your mod with altered stats for originals if you want but at least make a side-mod with real stats as well.

but where are his informations about their modifications? niet.

anybody can take his mod and doesn't know that stats are modified..

Induction to error. he would think that results's calculation are all original.

Moreover, this do not allow the choice at players....you want these NCF, then take stats modification too.

a .xls??? ,,,(I remember) so, a loooot of modifications

I agree about boosting original mastery spell but I would like better in other mod just for it and not included in NCF mod.

However, I understand too is impossible to make 2 files with the same name and then you cannot create extra expert spell in other file or mixed the 2 mods together.

So, do what you want and you would be nice if you would release 2 versions (both including extra expert stats)

Why not create a boosting mastery spell and boosting original creature mod?

Ex: I really dislike the ABILITY_SCATTER_SHOT on Skeleton Archer you made in your 3rd upgrade mod.

a way to balance skeleton archers and warriors.
I'm under the impression the warriors are way better than the archers.

ya, I think too that warriors are stronger. why not? If this time you feel to shot in necro, accept that archers are weaker. anyway you have archlichs... that is a good balance.

and after all, you have the 3rd upgrade to balance the 2 others

Moreover, you already use this ability for your 3rd upgrade preserve woodelf....with double shot...come on...

so the real best balance is 2 versions.

Seriously, I choosen them for their double scatter shot...I dont still know their new stat but i think already be back to original upgrade for this creature

Last stats I have about SwiftArcher:

Old

ABILITY_FEAR
ABILITY_IMMUNITY_TO_MIND_CONTROL
ABILITY_SCATTER_SHOT

New

ABILITY_FEAR
ABILITY_IMMUNITY_TO_MIND_CONTROL
ABILITY_POISONOUS_ATTACK

So, fine, poisonous instead of scatter.

I find scatter better than poisonous for preserve....especially for the 3rd upgrade...

fear works only on the stack at the center of the area targetted.
and I wanted a mass fear attack.
the night archer is meant to destabilize the opponents, while the master hunter and arcane archer are meant to kill them.

I know you didn't ask to my question....

but anyway I report you a serious bug even.

because I'm good.

I don't know why but using SPELL_LAND_MINE with your "Artificier" sometimes does to crash the game while its combat turn.

I advice you to really test this creature to prove yourself.

I removed all spells from this creature and replaced them by new abilities.

I noticed that too, when I was modding some things for 3.0

The AI sometimes crashes if it has Fire Trap with its creatures (I gave it to the Rune Patriarch, so the crash has nothing to do with that NCF creature in particular)

I was hoping in 3.1 it got fixed, but apparently it didn't.
