Quote: Oh, sorry. Didn't mean offence.
Normally I play maps which have actually been worked on by mapmakers instead of using random map generators. Artificial maps are so... cold.
mmh... perfectly true.
RTMG transforms this cold to hot ..hot ..hot ..ouch!!!!!
Excuse me for my reaction...
But, I work with much of rigor and I really dislike the work made with half.

Cepheus, the following errors come to my mind:
1)New Nightmare eplaces the old on adventure map and doesn't allow it to show up.
2)Rangers guild displays some additional creatures to choose from. However, when I choose one of these upgrades, rain of arrows will work ONLY for the standard cretures.
3.I can't swap between altenative upgrades in town - now that's serious bug.
It all happened after installing this mod, of course.
And there's a problem with new globlin which cannot be swallowed.

Thanks, I see. Didn't find any of those in the other thread, but whatever.
Sorry if it seems like I'm out to antagonise you, I sometimes have that effect Anyway:
The new Nightmare is probably using the same links in its .xdb as the old one (and as its file date is newer, it takes priority and "overwrites" the old files). Probably fixable.
The Ranger's Guild thing probably can't be fixed, likely the game simply wasn't coded to recognise third upgrades.
Ditto for the swapping problem (unless Fauch made some serious errors in the .xdb programming, as SimonaK suggests? I might check it out later).
The new Goblin thing is also hardcoded to recognise only certain creature IDs, so it's probably unfixable.
Yes, perhaps I should have tested the thing myself before coming in here and moaning

I haven't the problem with the nightmare.
the swapping problem is weird. at a friend house we can swap upgrades normally in towns, and when I test here, I can do it too, but only in a certain way, the other way doesn't work.

New pics: Like em? or hate em! I'll gladly change them if you don't like them!
Goblin: I still thinks it's awesome!
Centaur: I really like this one very much too! Maybe there is soemthing wrong with the bow?
Warrior: I have tried 6 times to make this one look less boring! But i can't! Fauch's effects would help a lot on this one!
Shaman: I really like this one!
Slayer: Looks a bit wierd on the top of it's head, but can't change that! White top looks even more awfull! But a nice texture too!
What do ya think?

Sorry, but the new models are way too white. Seems like a black-and-white rendition of an old model that's been cut on top of the excisting one.
Might be possible to make it work, but you need to make it WAY less bright, much more down in the gray scale with lower contrast, and then add a slight brown hue, so it's not completely gray-scale. It's almost impossible to merge real gray-scale with colour and make it look natural, it simply does not work with the eye.
The best way to add a slight brown hue is to make it grayscale and then increase red colour intensity slightly and green colour intensity by roughly the same amound or a bit less. This will make a fake "brown scale". Some program indeed have a feature to turn from real colour into Sepia Scale, which will probably do the trick.

Ahh, like the existing NCF!? But i can see white doesn't fit that good now!
And i like the cyclops too! And the wyvern! But still don't like the blue orcs that much! But maybe Night Daughter should have blue anyways!

Goblin is still awesome, but others shine too strong. That's a general problem with most of the textures, I'm not an expert in these issues.
Gothic Shaman looks quite interesting, though I believe not all might like it
New warrior is perfect.

Not blue, but dark violet. Almost black in fact.

translation done.
there is a thing I haven't managed to translate :
"farfadet" my dictionary says "elf" or "sprite" but I think it's already used in the game. (and elf may sound a bit weird)
sovereign animations kinda fixed. but does he have an attack animation? (I mean, with the sword)

The best picture manipulation/editing program i have tried is the Photo Studio Produced for Canon Cameras! It has all kinds of options, it's Photo Shop, Paint Shop and Gimp all in one!
With that program, everything is possible! exept reading DDS, but that's nothing!

Disturbed-Gnu > Please understand that my remark was not ment as a personal critique in any way, I just gave an honest (and admittedly slightly blund ) evaluation of their looks from my eyes. Also, I wanted to give some suggestions as to how they may come to look more natural, but I'm not a graphics wiz myself.

Yeah i know! If there wasn't any critic, there wouldn't be anything else than ugly useless creatures!?
I know they are way too bright, so i'm going to make them red instead! White looks like Orc-snow-men! The idea was good, but not as pretty as red!

Red Orc Upgrades (We have wild orc upgrades, trained orc upgrades, and now demon/evil upgrades) ?? Or am i wrong ??
Goblin: There is something black on the backhead that doesn't belong there! but i don't really know what to remove!
Centaur: The upper budy needs a fading to the lower body!
Warrior: Nothing wrong with this one!
Shaman: There is a black line on her head, but i i don't think it needs to be removed?
Slayer: No matter what i do, this creature still looks ugly! Low quality, no colours that match it, and a strange head!
Comments?

I fixed bugs in first NCF creatures
because they made crash the game.
And, indeed, RTMG requires a perfect integrity of tags
in order to manage well the installation of NCF creatures in map
and the cohesion of the data and link between them and others creatures.
Even if (as you say) the upgrade tag (exemple) is not useful.
If the creature is a upgrade one, the tag must be "true" in spite of all.
It's very important to ensure a perfect integrity in this direction.
Elsewhere, I propose me as being the person having the role
to ensure these integrities
Thanks

I've already corrected the tags "Upgrade" and "BaseCreature" (or something like that) on my creatures and on official creatures too.
I don't know what is the tag "PairCreature" exactly

I believe red looks ok, but on the battlefield all the creatures are going to look the same. Don't forget about Inferno ones.
