somehow i fear, that the Bugtracker isnt DAUproof enough. Seeing that normal Users have even problems posting their questions in the right forums/threads here, i doubt that theyll manage to open a ticket in mantis .)

hey guys , i have been messing with photoshop for a very long time now , almost as long as i have been playing homm3 and i would like to start making my own version of a hd remake . After i saw what ubisoft did with the steam remake it made me puke so why not use my few hours every week to work on a nice project so , can anyone help me out with how to find extract and reintroduce textures into homm3 ? from what i have seen in the homm3 hd remake videos it is possible to work on the textures with photoshop .
i have some modding experience from the NFS series , GTA , Minecraft and other games but with HOMM3 i really want to focus on retexturing the game .
Any kind of help is appreciated.

This is a repost that I did on fheroes2, maybe this approach has some use to someone.
frame interpolation with avisynth, sprites/frames>avi>interpolate>export frames/sprites, or maybe it can be done by the engine.
Here are two 5sec avi files(druid death animation), one with 10fps and the other 60fps that I made.

I used mvtools2 and not the above filter.

Yes, it looks not bad. If this can be made realtime, it will be cool. But it will require battles drawing algorithm enlarge.

do what i do. either find graphics from games online via a wiki/google search, or actually acquire the game(and at this point it better have a map editor. then put objects on an easily removed background, screenshot, cut object manually, then fix object in photoshop until it looks like it belongs in the game. easy peasy.

I throught it's for Oasis
If to replace Manticores, it will be paralyze/bind ability. So there will be no big difference except no flying.
Her nude torso and coloring better fits Oasis.

I don't see the point giving same abilities to alternatives. They are supposed to be interesting strategical choice with different stats and abilities. I wonder when people get that finally. It's not to REPLACE, but to GIVE CHOICE.

Oasis won't have that kind of creatures.

Because it's hard to think out ability of spiders, that doesn't include paralyzation of immobilization.

Probably a rethorical question to nepheretes: is it really necessary to sexualize this game? She seems way too naked, but i doubt there will be anyone against nudism, which is pretty wrong knowing that there are more people against forge, for example. It is e great model though. Anyway, it s your mod and you do whatever you want, i just expressed my opinion.

Secondly, will you do alternative uprades for cove too?

Guys chill out, these are only breasts. Anyway I am still thinking whether go fang nipples (lol, Fred) or cover them somehow. We will see.

If to think about possible fan towns alternatives, Cove would be first (and for now the only one?) great town to do so. This will go later in time, because at first we have enough work with original towns.
