What about the map editor? Any sugestions why I can't use it?

DuDi, seriously, how should I know? You don't really elaborate your problem by just telling me that you can't open the map editor do you?

My guess is that the whole problem is located in the fact that you use polish version while my mod uses English txt files and so these two collide.

Ok.

I unistalled full game and installed Heroes III Complete (English version). The title page and the editor map WOG work corrctly, but still I have problem with Growth.
I think it's maybe because of WoGification but I have turn on/off this options you said that should be on/off.

Here is a small update:

Hero of Light mod v3.21

TWEAKS AND CHANGES:

- Some Creature Growth issues solved
- Barbarian Axe of Might and Wizards Staff installed
- William starts with Pirates as starting troops
-Masters of Life WOG Option must be OFF (added this on the readme file)
- Smaller rar file to download

Bug with the catapults

I love this mod but there is a major problem..

The catapults in the castle are very bugged.. so much so that whenever i try to use them on towers, or click on the building where they are recruited, the game crashes. i get an error message and it exits the game.. anyone else have this problem?

I am on XP home. i have the GOG version of the game. all the wog settings are as they should be according to the read me file. any ideas?

Either way, I didn't do anything about the Catapults. If you use the WOG option that makes them work as a creature and not as a siege engine then there might be a problem with the script. If not then I don't know what might be wrong.

Its catapult def was corrupted, it is the only explanation to the crash, both in town and battle.

GoG version is Heroes 3 bought at...GoG.

Good old games sells games. GOG for short.

I have followed instructions in the read me file and done everything that i was supposed to do so i don't know what i did. It says "access violation... attempt to open something that is inaccessible" (or something).

Download this mod and run the installer, specify your Heroes 3 game path. Then please report if catapult is working.

Nope. Doesn't work. Still gives me the, "attempting to access inaccessible data" error message...

Question

Excuse me, guys, is it possible to disable pre-battle music in combat? And to implement the feature of dividing the monster stack by 1 to every empty cell in hero window? I used these features in era with some mods and would be very nice to use it in Hero of light. Very useful. Thanks.

Thanks Hero of Light and Salamandre for fixing the problem that me and others had! Amazing mod, and your speed of doing it is phenominal Hero of Light.

Also, from previous page, I calculated it out and Castle towns are about 32.3-5k gold per a week, Since you only make 28k per a week with capitol maybe it should be reduced. (Plain SoD Castle is about 3-4k less gold per a week, roughly.)

Also, DuDi if ur still having problems with editor the New Objects Patch fixed that for me, but it does depend on your error.

Also, just wondering but is there any spots where people are making maps specifically for this mod?

No i haven't problems with map editor.
I saw that when Neutral Tows and Creatures Bank Growth option is turn on I can't still visit Creatures Bank more than once per game (should be avaible to visit it again after 3 weeks from defeat previous creatures in the Bank)

They don't work because timer 2 is disabled by HoL.

@HoL, line 4369, if you change TM2 to any unused timer, all other universal scripts using it every day will work again. Right now they are disabled, ie CB growth.

Change it to some not claimed timer, this should be enough:

!#TM81:S1/1/1/255; Once
!?TM81;

Several scripts use timer 2 every day for various purposes. Your command disables it after day 1.

@Edit: you should either prohibit creatures bank growth script or use it as well, because when respawns every 28 day, it will change the creatures ID from yours.

Check 21 wog neutral-units script, change from line 678 to 719 the creatures ID to your custom banks, then add this script into the package. It will overwrite the original with your custom banks.

Well I always thought that creature banks SHOULD be visited only once (or else the point of them will be useless). Same goes with Marletto Towers etc and that's why these options were always OFF in my book...

In any case I currently don't have the time (and indeed the strength and will) to work on scripting and modding again... There are a lot of things going on in my life right now... That's why I've been pointing out all this time that HoLv3.2 will be the definitive version of my work. When I end the campaigns (that I promised I'd deliver), I will stop working on modding altogether. And who knows, maybe after a few years I will stage a grand comeback I'm sure Heroes III will be popular still...

I will just add these options to the OFF list in the last update and be done with it.

Hello! love playing your mod

I have one question for you,sorry if this was asked before.
There is a low level creature that is "possessed" can you please tell me what that is?

Also,I am working on a map,is it possible to disable the ability to chance between creatures whenever you want?

also,how do I play the campaign ? If i go to the menu it says shadow of death instead of wog.And I can't even play the wog campaigns when I enable your mod
