I dont understand when an error log helps,but if you upload a saved game,it will be definitely helpful!

F12 will not tell what is wrong but will help to debug in real time a saved game. Mainly for the mod creator, not for players.

I was using WoG and Yona ... I figured out what's doing this though!

I'm pretty positive it happens when Masters of Life(the WoG setting that lets heroes auto upgrade 1st level units) is switched on.  I noticed I could proceed with bare-bones settings, so I just continued adding them until I found out what the block was.

So I turned this off and now I'm enjoying your mod!

Hmmm, I never used Masters of Life before (never liked it) so I wouldn't know If the mod works with or without this option. I run a tests and it is indeed needed to be turned off. I will include it in the list in the (near) future that I'm planning. Thanks for the heads up

Hi there,

I have installed your mod and I have some problem.
Here is the first one [url=http://imageshack.us/f/651/ss1bq.jpg/]Title page[/url] isn't correct display and when I want to load/play game here is next [url=http://imageshack.us/f/832/ss2nl.jpg/]screen[/url] but this isin't very important.
Everything seems great but when I build upgrade dwelling of creature from level 7 then this happening [url=http://imageshack.us/f/842/ss3ca.jpg/]KLICK[/url]. I can assure you that everything was installed correctly.
First of all I have unistalled old version HoL mod and all game files, then I've installed Heroes III Gold Edition. Next step was installed ERA2 and then Hero of Light mod 3.2. I turn on game and load settings.dat from HoL folder in Mods folder.

Any sugestions, ideas what i do wrong?

The suggestion is found a few posts back, so I'll just quote myself:

As for the Game Menu I don't know why it wouldn't work. You're the first one to report this problem.

In any case If you followed all these steps as you said it should be working. I noticed you use a Polish(?) version of Heroes? I don't know what problems that might cause to the mod. Maybe nothing.

Maybe reinstalling Heroes and ERA would do to the trick. I know some cases that it worked with a reinstallation.

Thanks very much Yes I use polish version and I tried reinstall the all game few times and still is the same but it's doesn't metter.
I have one more problem with WoG editor. I can't open it because there is some kind of error:

No I have Win Vista SP2 32 bit

Hero I did what you say and still is the same problem. Now I have negative growth (like -2 Ancient Behemots).

Have you copied battery.dll as I said? When negative growth appears there's a change to solve the problem by loading the save game of a previous day and pressing F12 (thus reloading the scripts).

I noticed that ERA II doesn't always work properly on Vista. I tried installing my mod on Vista and it didn't work at first. Had to reinstall the whole thing several times before it did. I didn't have the same problem with Win XP or 7 though.

Feedback!

Very well done. At first, I (frankly) looked down on the project (with all the creatures that don't look fitting), but after downloading 3.2 my point of view changed.

This unlocked an all-new style of play that gives the game an entirely new meaning. A lot of it actually feels natural, as I was scared the first time around that the new things will seem forced.
New units are great (although the ones ripped from HoMM IV are less than stellar, but who am I to say), but balance could be a problem, for instance:
1. I don't think you can buy all of the Castle's troops (with a +6/w Champion growth and whatnot) with just one Capitol source of income and I also found myself having an overwhelming stack of Champs especially with their stronger Jousting bonus (iirc).

2. Did you raise the difficulty somehow? the enemy seems to amass troops more than they usually do on vanilla (SoD Complete) or am I just inexperienced with ERA II/WoG features?

3. I saw the posts on the first page/SS presentation and I have to ask: did you intentionally set it so that some of the exchange creatures grew differently? For instance I could recruit all of the usual troops +Enchanters/Gold/Diamond golems on Tower. While it is useful to an extent I couldn't actually choose a different lineup without being handicapped (since their growths aren't affected by Citadel/Castles, are they?). Also, for around more than three weeks Gold Dragon/Sharpshooter weekly growth somehow turned off, I haven't checked the later weeks cause I haven't continued playing.
Those are my two cents, and also once again thanks. Great mod. You should be proud.

I've seen interesting thing. When I buy units by "buy all units" button in town I can buy all units, but when I enter to the castle screen then LVL 4 and LVL 7 growth is 0.
Another strange thing is growth event in game/town. When I have information then some creatures (level 7) are to buing I have negative growth that creatures in town.

Castle's creatures were the most expensive in original Heroes III as well. I don't think I changed the total gold cost for the weekly recruits. Maybe it is raised a little but surely not by much.

As for the creatures you mention, I said in an earlier post that the following creatures are available in towns with their own growth (not affected by Citadel or Castle or anything):

Falconets in Castle
Gold and Diamond Golems in Tower
Enchanters in Tower
Bards in Dungeon

P.S. I didn't raise the difficult level. You obviously lack experience in playing ERA II (ERA II has the SoD AI radius, while WOG AI player was somewhat lobotomized).

I don't really understand what you're trying to say, but in any case I can't recommend anything more than the things I recommended in my previous posts.
