Sprite Resource error

hi, i need help vith Hero of Light 3.2,

before battle i got this error


in battle error

error no. 2 attack with dragons,

any ideas how solve this problem?

From the looks of it, you're using my mod with other mods as well and this can be troublesome. I see that the Succubi have the Energy Elemental sprite which is wrong (the Energy Elementals were replaced by the succubi). You need to go to mod manager and place my mod on top of the list so that it won't collide with any other mods you're using.

To play HoLv3.2 - Tales of Amadar. Steps: Heroes 3 Complete ---> Era 2.4 ---> Update to Era 2.43 ---> HoLv3.2 - Tales of Amadar Compatible with ERA II only (Extracted all files to "Mods" folder, Load the appropriate WOG Options (found in the readme file).) ---> New Objects patch v1.9 ---> Something's not right...able to play only Era II, Wog.

HoL package is not playable automatically once installed. Once it is in mods folder, you must enable it with mod manager and bring it in active mods. All mods that come as exe files will install properly, those coming as *rar must be enabled manually. (maybe the 1000th time I repeat this)

Thanks a lot Salamandre. Installation guide is not mentioning anything about "you must enable it with mod manager". Sorry for the inconvenience and my poor knowledge about EraII mod manager tool.

On my win XP era places start menu icon on desktop when installed, then is better to start games from it, as we see the list of active mods. I don't know if same thing when higher win version.

Thanks for the mention of 'WOG Revised'.

I've tried MP (WOG, HOLV3.2) with 'WOG Revised' with the default options (exept for commanders, which I don't want) however, MP is still very unstable for me even with WOG Revised enabled. I was only able to play a few rounds only before crash. I'll try to disable some random scripts, I guess. Anything I can try? I really want this to work. Thanks

Edit:

So I found out that almost all WoG options seem to causes MP craches. Only a few seems not to. Like, Quick combat options, quick buy, dwellings accumulate, that I know of.

Many crashes can be triggered by newest win versions. In the past I played wog MP games when win XP both players, and never had crashes. I had some invalid transfer data during battles, if using commanders and experience system, but crashes never. Besides this, if you are using HD mod when playing MP wog, it can also provoke crashes. HD mod is not supporting some scripts so far.

Well, I am indeed using win7 64-bit (complete version). Maybe XP compatibility mode works better then? I've tried WoG (not revised) without HD mod, but that was the same deal. I think I'll just wait a couple of years(or many years) for VCMI to catch up. Too much headache.

In MP with WoG with default options? What about HD mod?

Could the Hero version make a difference? Complete vs SoD, GoG editions. Maybe even TCP-IP vs IPX.

My config is Complete + Era + HD.
Of course regarding WoG options you must use the obligatory specified by HoL if you play his mod (but i guess you can load the settings).

I used to play MP games with my mod too in the past, that is until the game crashes got me completely frustrated with it and I stopped trying. I agree with Salamandre I thing Heroes III MP games were more stable with Win XP. To be honest I managed to fully complete only a handful of MP games with WoG... I am afraid the only true solution to the problem is Hotseat (or minimum WoG options enabled).

After hours of trying to get this mod to work i finally got it done (I hope).
You should add to the main post that installing WoG and then ERA II isn't the same as only ERA II installed

I have a few questions on 3.22:

1. Should I install WoG revised? (I'm only playing hot seat random maps)
2. Only Haven has new heroes, right?

EDIT:
3. In 3.1 the new dwellings of that sea oriented faction seem to be messed up. In random maps there are Spider Jinxes, Nitghmares, Lycans etc. I installed the mod correctly, could it be related to some WoG options, like New Creature Dwellings?

Could someone please give a quick run through of the steps in ERM required to change the dwelling of Ra Messengers to accumulate creatures? Right now the dwelling does not accumulate when I turn accumulate creatures in wog options. And also how to change the Tower Enchanter and Artillery growth so that it is cumulative in the towns? What tools are used to pack and unpack the ERM where this data is and which file is it?
