Yes, it's pretty darn large too (depending on the choice you make you could also get 2 more locations in the mojave)
Also the new rocket launcher is atleast 50% faster than that one

@Duke: Also free.
@Darksy: I saw a video of that Red Glare thingy and the Lamprey is actually faster
Also it has alternative custom Space Marine style rocked-powered bullets instead of rockets.
**** yeah.

Attachments? Oh, didn't think about that.
Yeah well the Lamprey is still cooler.
Though that Red Glare thingy would probably look damn sweet with T-57 C Power Armor... got the whole patriotic American theme going...
There's a laser katana included in the overhaul Project Nevada that I'm playing, think it's pretty balanced.

I dl:ed a separate mod for the Laser katana's and the extended one is totally OP, infact so much that when drawing it out the game simply freezes for several seconds because the Katana is so gamebreaking.
Also, around the time when Dead Money was released, I saw someone wanted to make a mod where you could summon CSM npc's as backup, I wonder did that ever get released

Anyone else try out Lonesome Road? I was bummed it lacked an intro movie and considering how hyped up the confrontation was, it wasn't that exciting. Don't expect an awesome outro movie either.
The new toys are fun. You get a death claw gauntlet and a powerfist with a built in buzz saw called the Industrial Fist. Just don't try to use the Industrial Hand's alternate attacks (Uppercut and Cross) in VATS. You'll end up doing no damage and just swing away as you get ripped apart.
You can now get flash bang grenades which sap weapon skills by 20% and satchel charges which act as really-hard to see mines. I can't speak much to the guns, melee, or energy weapons because I do not use them.
As to the Red Glare, it's a fun weapon but not as powerful as a regular missile launcher per rocket. The advantage it has over the missile launcher is the rapid fire of the rockets. Pretty easy to take people apart with a volley. Then again, one HE missile can do that too.
The enemies are fairly challenging, which is good because at 35 the game isn't difficult. The hardest part for me was in a place where I found myself being rushed by 3 Death Claws and being attacked by Marked Men carrying plasma casters and anti-material rifles. I was surprised I actually died.
As to the overall experience, I would rate the expansions in this order:
1) Old World Blues
2) Dead Money
3) Lonesome Road
4) Honest Hearts
It's hard to top Old World Blues because, frankly, I feel they nailed it with that expansion. Honest Hearts, with the exception of the environment, was really mediocre. I rate Dead Money higher than Lonesome Road for a few reasons. First, Dead Money has a better story. Lonesome Road's story is all about a past we never, as the player, experienced and Ulysses's response to it. When you finally learn the "why" of everything, it's pretty underwhelming. Usually I don't have problems with a game bringing up a character's past but given the nature of the Courier's past, it just feels off. Dead Money is also less linear, albeit not by much. Lonesome Road is extremely linear. There are only a couple of side areas and for the most part you go from A to B to C.
Bottom line: If you are a fan of the series, get it. The level cap increase, the new perks, and new toys are worth it. If you are on the fence, wait for a price reduction, sale, or Game of the Year Edition.

I liked LR, only thing that grinds my gears is that the level cap is now maxed and the deathclaws will easily tear you apart, especially Rawr, ughhh
Also what did you pick at the end (if you are there yet?)

I figured the wasteland has suffered enough and took the peaceful way out.
Rawr was challenging. It took a few attempts to get him because I run unarmed and explosives. Usually I can only get one shot off on him before he attacks. I drugged up, loaded up a HE missile, fired, then when he was hobbling towards me, entered VATS ASAP and tore him apart with the Industrial Hand.

Gun runners arsenal, the last DLC pack for NV was released a few days ago.
And oh boy, this one takes the cake in Overpowered weapons.
You get an anti materiel rifle that you can mod to increase the rate of fire and also you can use explosve .50 MG rounds if those deathclaws give you too much trouble.
This truly puts the old gobi rifle in shame.

Project Nevada + EVE + WME + IWS + AWOP + MoMOD = 5x better game.
Surprised I got all those compatibility patches working again. Take a break from playing and you have no idea what all those files are for and what they work with...
EDIT:
**** yeah, it's AER14 Prototype Laser Rifle time. The modified version.
Ohh fancy crosshair and electrical sounds.
Let's charge this sucker up (holds down trigger)
Release for continuous 5 second stream of destruction!
Badass weapon.

It's cool, but better textures and visuals usually net me 12 fps at ultra high whereas I can get stable 30fps on ultra without them. And they are not that much better
THe one that I love however are Nevada Skies. Esp. for darker nights. Set it to really dark and you'll be impressed how climatic nights at FNV can be.

Yeah, that one's awesome. ESPECIALLY the sandstorms... so fricking awesome. And the Radstorms, god I love Radstorms.
I also recommend Interior Lighting Overhaul for more atmospheric caves and stuff.

I think I have over a couple GBs of mods for that game, lol. Most I've never tried due to time constraints
And it's near summer. And damn you Blizzard for releasing D3 near summer.
Anyway...
FNV is actually fun in a way - if you read gamefaqs, you'll see how much people are still clueless about what's really good and what isn't in this game. The problem is that it's so dreadfully easy it's really NOT possible to see your powerbuild's maximum potential except for one single fight: WIth Ulyssess.
I personally killed him within two seconds.
Lanius lasted about as much too

Modding with Adrius episode 656 or something
ADAM, a definitive armor mod
You like ranger armors? YOU DON'T KNOW RANGER ARMOR UNTIL YOU KNOW ADAM!
Hideout Vault
A home perfectly integrated into the story and lore, complete with totally awesome security features so that you can feel really safe!
Just enough amount of storage, large enough without losing the cozy feeling. My favourite home.
Pipboy Readius Workaround Fixes
Many like the Readius pipboy because it gets rid of the wrist-pipboy which seriously uglifies some armor and clothing, especially power armor. However, the original Readius suffers from many bugs, which this often overlooked mod fixes.
Pip-boy Readius 3500
A Fallouty texture for the readius, making it much more realistic.
No Combat Music
No warnings here! The ambience music just continues!
Fallout 1 and 2 Ambient Music v02
New Vegas comes packed with loads of music from the original Fallout games but only a few are used, this one enables and adds more nostalgic tunes!
Vurt's Wasteland Flora Overhaul
Since I last saw this mod it has been updated with a Dead Wasteland version, which is simply a massive improvement over default vegetation without breaking the post-apocalyptic wasteland feel. Highly recommended.
No Blur Menus and UI
When you press escape in vanilla New Vegas the background is covered. This mods removes that background, allowing you to see the action even though you've paused the game. A quite minor mod, but its effect is huge since you can now pause the game without losing focus.
Increased Weapon Jamming
New Vegas comes packed with dozens of awesome animations for weapon jamming that are sadly almost never seen due to the weapons being so easy to repair. This mod increases weapon jamming, allowing it to trigger on fire as well as making weapons jam at higher percentage health.
Several options are available, and you'll be surprised how many awesome animations you've missed!

That sounds nice. Probably should give this game another try, but I played Diablo III beta and I know it will be the game to absorb me, totally...
Myself I would recommend No buzzing sound for ED-E.. You won't believe how much of a serenity it is to be free from it lol
