Well I play the game on console so it might not be possible Anyways, I decided to make my Blocking skill "legendary" and spend the perks on another skills! Now my Nord who was 1H+shield with Daedric armor is now Dual wielding hero with Forsworn armor set
I found that Dual wielding weapons deals many more damages btw....

@Adrius. Lol! XD
@heroes: Start a new character? My second was an assassain-type with the self-imposed limit of "no crafting" (for challenge purposes). I went through and did the other side for most of the quests.

You could play a pure thief.
Steal everything you can. Game is over if you kill a man or mer (thief guild rules).
Not being able to kill things other than monsters lends to some pretty interesting gameplay, especially if you disregard Illusion (Calm spells make it a bit too easy mode). Have to sneak by or immobilize enemies without killing them, but you still have to steal ALL OF THEIR **** cuz you be da thief.

Is that avoiding quests (I'm thinking of the bit with Mercer at the end)? Because some of those would be difficult (impossible) without killing someone. It does sound fun though.

I wouldn't go far enough to become a Nightingale even, they serve a different codex than normal thiefs (they're allowed to kill).
But I generally don't do much questing anyway, all about the exploring.

JoonasTo said: No it's not. The game gets harder if you level them both up because of level scaling. Especially if you're a mage since spells do fixed damage that does not scale.
That said, the game is not particularly hard on any difficulty if you know how to play.
I'm not really understanding this one. How does the level scaling work?

Heeheehee, yes that's a good one. "Timmy fell down a well?"
I'm trying to finish ESO before I go back to the single-player games, but it's hard some times. :X And this is why!

I have started a new game as mage... and I have to say that destruction is way powerful 4ever... get the perk which allows you to stagger enemies while dual casting... this way you will defeat even Deathlords very easily
Mages in Skyrim are immortal in comparison with the HomMM3's mages

Haven't played Skyrim in a while, mostly on the account that it wasn't suitable for my phase. (late 16th century to mid 18 hundreds)
Now, I'm torn between making an Ancient Greek character (probably a Spartan due to the hype hence more mods) and a ninja type. I'll need fully functioning throwing weapons for both. The problem with the ninja is that I always get this inner revulsion every time I see my guy running around the forests in his ninja clothes, but if I don't wear it then what exactly makes me a ninja? My combat style?
Also I'm looking for a witcher style re-haul of the potion system, for example health and stamina pots regen over time.
Oooor, perhaps I can take the same character down both aisles, an honourable warrior that thirsts for combat and blood by day with spear sword and shield, and by night becomes the hunter in the shadows. Idk, I'll work on it.

IIRC weren't real-life ninjas assassins? So they'd wear what they needed to blend in and use whatever they could find on hand or easily conceal for weapons. So wear what a normal Tamerilic citizen would wear (read: clothes), sneak a lot, and stick to weapons you can find on hand and maybe daggers.

Can't believe I've modded and played TES games for 8 years thinking that Wrye Bash is unnecessary.
Bashed patches are amaaaaazing.
Couldn't effing complete my vampire character, not enough mods to fullfil my vision..
So back to a Dragonborn. Actually gonna make a pseudo-mage Dragonborn this time instead of the good ol' sword n' boarder. Will be wearing Dragon Priest equipment from Konahriik's Accroutment mod, Chillrend in one hand and a Dragon Priest Staff in the other.. using alchemy to bolster elemental defenses.
The aim is to become OP as all hell, which is oddly refreshing.

BTW. When mods fail, make new ones! Haven't made any for Skyrim but H5 and CnC series a bunch of them.

Ooh oooh, you people! Just came across a really cool piece of lore!
Remember this guy?
If you don't, that's Mankar Camoran, the main mortal anatagonist of TES IV: Oblivion (the divine or rather daedric antagonist being Mehrunes Dagon).
A real piece of work that one. But wait... what's that around his neck?
That's the Amulet of goddamn Kings, and the game makes a huge point of it not being wearable by anyone besides heirs to the throne. Him wearing that didn't make much sense until we had Skyrim... but now:
"The amulet could only be worn by certain individuals - those who could be said to have the Dragon Blood in their veins." - Amulet of Kings
"Offering myself to that daybreak allowed the girdle of grace to contain me. When my voice returned, it spoke with another tongue. After three nights I could speak fire." - Mankar Camoran Commentaries Volume 1
He was a goddamn Altmer Dragonborn Well it's a theory at least, could just be an oversight by Beth and a coincidence with the commentaries... but TES Lore can often be this effing intricate.
EDIT: HC BB coding being a pain in my ass.

Making my staff/sword character I discovered that Staff of Chain Lightning is easily one of the most OP weapons in the vanilla game.
It has stagger, and chains lightning. You can stagger-lock entire groups with it and even cheeze dragons to a slow death.
Kinda amazed I can still find new stuff.
