I'm playing as a Khajit for the first time since Morrowind and I love it. I was duel wielding yataghans against a bunch of bandits, got disarmed by a mace blow and then I punched his face in. ^^
But since I'm still in my arab mood I can't stand the constant ice setting, so I've re-downloaded tropical Skyrim. My only lament is that frostfall might be a little funky now.

Journal of the Dragonborn has completely changed the game for me. Suddenly my character has actual character. I love it.
Writing about my character's experiences once per day in-game.. feels so immersive.

The Dragon Priest Armory mods by Edhelsereg are amazingly well made. Using the Clay Mask to travel back in time and see the Draugr ruins open up, see the sunlight through the roof and hear the dragons swooping above.. amazing.
I didn't use his Dragon Priests Enhanced mods since I already have Revenge of the Enemies and figured it would be enough and possibly conflict. But DAMN it's enough.
Hevnoraak eats me ALIVE. His firebolts one-hit me and travel instantly across the room, if I get close he 360-Fus-Ro-Dahs me all over the place, and when I get him below 75% health he summons 3 (3!!) Dremora Lords with Greatswords.
Really forces me to bring out the cheeze. I finally won by using Slow Time shout and spamming him with all the fireballs I could muster before he even got out of his coffin.
Well... that's one Dragon Mask and one step closer to Konahriik's armory. He also had a Resistance spelltome that adds 200 armor rating + 20% magic resistance and absorb for a duration... Master level Alteration, sweet.

Because of how central the stars are to the lore of Elder Scrolls I've always found great pleasure in the mods that enhance the night skies.
(click for high-res)
The brighter stars with nebulae behind them are Birthsigns
Can stare at its twinkling for ages. I've gone for a slightly more subtle visual compared to the LSD-colour-****fest I had earlier.

Enhanced Night Skyrim

As I said that I start a new game with pure mage, I found the destruction mage very overpowered and, therefore, quite boring to play so I decided to make the skill legendary and now I concentrate on illusion and conjuration I haven't leveled them up yet... Btw I think that the best destruction spells are the lvl apprentice spells because they are very cheap in comparisonn with the higher lvl spells so you are able to cast them many times before you run out of mana...
Anyways, with my new illusion and conjuration mage I left the Arch Mage quarters in the College because I needed to fast travel to Whiterun... I immediately encountered an Elder Dragon! Since the fight was on the tower I think that there is no way to defeat it with my character because the Dragon is always flying etc... I realized that it is very tough to fight them with illusion and conju... I tried the fight many times but with no success then I gave up and switched my route Normally I could have beat the measily . With destruction mage they aren't even able to fire breath you

My destruction/conjuration dovahkiin fought a Nether Dragon.
Never encountered one of those before.
It used some kinda invisibility shout midflight, sneakily landed and then assassinated me from behind while I stared at the sky.
I ****ing loved it. I remember on like page 2 or something of this thread I talked about how excited I was of dragons with different powers, and how they would probably use spells like that.
Thanks mods.

This post contains spoilers for the Daggerfall Covenant, so if you're ever planning on playing ESO...you've been warned.
At the end of DC for the final battle against Septima Tharn, she kills High King Emeric and you have to chase his soul into the Far Shores to retrieve him. The reason she does this, interestingly, is NOT to remove a powerful leader of the faction she's trying to invade, it's to get rid of YOU, the player character...
...because she knows that because you had your soul stolen you can't be slain on the Mundus, and bringing you to the Far Shores breaks your link with Coldharbor (and thus your soul), allowing you to be killed. Now, consider who else can't be slain on the Mundus, and add to that the fact that you don't get to eat that individual's soul after killing them...
...anyone care to speculate on who has Alduin's soul?

ESO takes place before Skyrim though right? Alduin was flashing forward through time during the events of ESO, after being Dragon Breaked by those Nords with their Elder Scrolll.
I mean, he had his soul then, why would it be in a hero character?
Then again Akatosh being the god of time and dragons being his children I guess he could pull some bull**** and resurrect Alduin as a mortal before he was killed. Or something.
It's possible but sounds unlikely they are the same soul. Alduin's a special type of Akatosh-Apocalypse-End-Of-Time-Creature-Thingy whose destruction of the world can only be suspended (as the Dragonborn did), not prevented... he is eternal and inevitable. The other soulless one just has some Molag Bal soul bull**** pulled on him, as far as I understand.

Wha? No, that's not what I was trying to say. The Vestige couldn't be slain on Mundus because they had their soul stolen. I'm speculating that Alduin's soul was stolen ALSO, prior to your fights with him in Skyrim, hence why he couldn't be slain on Mundus. And I'm wondering that if that's the case, who has it?
I thought the obvious answer was "Akatosh" but one of the lore books mentions that the only way to kill a Daedra (rather than banish it back to Oblivion) is to drag it to one of the planes of Aetherius (Sovngarde being the example given) first, and kill it there to either kill or trap the Daedra forever, and that's exactly what we do with Alduin, which suggests one of the Daedric Princes has it. I do wonder about Lorkan, though.
I expect someone would have noticed if the Vestige had a Dragon soul, since that would make them Dragonborn!

Aha hahaha.. sorry... thought when you said "who has Alduin's soul" you meant a reincarnation, which is often the topic of discussion on TES lore... reincarnations of different legends and stuff... like Shezzarine and Pelinal and Nerevar and all of that...
I get you now, and that's an interesting thought.
Would make for an interesting plot.
Actually no Daedric god has it.
The Dwemer stole it, they're back from whatever realm of Oblivion they were banished to.
And they forge Alduin's soul into a Daedric Brass God and then invade Mundus with it.
Mecha Alduin piloted by Dwarves.
Calling it.

I was thinking the Last Dragonborn's soul was it in the first place, and he/she is going to take Alduin's place as World Eater...
...but Dwarven invasion would be sooo much fun.
Actually, I'm guessing the Thalmor are going to ultimately conquer everyone (it makes too good of a reset button--did the Dragonborn kill the Emperor or not? Who won the Civil War? No one knows, because the Dominion purged all record of their conquest of Skyrim ) back on Nirn, so if/when the Dwarves DO come back to take over, who would win, and who would you root for?
On the one hand, we have racist arrogant scumbags who are trying to kill a god and have access to powerful magic.
On the other, we have slaving arrogant scumbags who twisted an entire race into monsters and have access to powerful technology.
EDIT:
COPS/Skyrim crossover. It amused me, so I'm sharing.

Still no luck with scars. I can search for them, individually, but where are they hooked up to the NPCs?
Edit:
Found this on the OotS forums. Apologies if it's already been brought up here.
