CTD = Crash To Desktop
And TES games crash far too much. I think a large part of that is mods, though. My heavily modded Oblivion crashes about every half hour. It's worth it, though, the mods add a lot to the game.
Speaking of Morrowind, I've tried to get into it, but I just couldn't. The interface isn't very good and the fonts are tiny. Has anyone tried Morroblivion?

My heavily modded skyrim is running fairly stable, after I ripped out a particularly annoying weather mod. Load order is a big thing, but I'm sure you know that.
I tried to get into modding oblivion and then I realised my shivering isles key is missing and I had an emotional breakdown. All is well now though.

I think it pretty often crashed on my older computer, but I don't recall it did very much on my newer one.

Doesn't some of the random sleepers ask as well? Anyway, thank you for your invitation to live in your house, DAGOTH GARES, but my experience is that once I arrive at their home, they say they didn't expect me this early and then proceed to slaughter me!

Yeah, there's plenty of times where it's insinuated you can join the sixth house, but nope lol. Sad I didn't have access at the time to these mods.

It wasn't very special, to be honest. Just a few extra quests, very simple quests too.
But then again, if one really wants to, I think all factions in Morrowind can be simplified down to "a few extra quests", after all there are next to no in-game consequences, apart from guard behavior, regarding all the quests I can think of.

Quest chains in morrowind were pretty darned long, if I recall. Could just be they felt so long, since a quest by the fighter's guild could have me tracking across the world all evening. Also, some quests changed the "local rumors" topic, I think. 
Is there anything in the world that can make the guards polite to you? Like, ordinators are the rudest people in the world.
EDIT: Oh, and the quest where you slaughter the dren plantation has you slaughter the dren plantation.

I think in some quests you do team up with an NPC partner, I guess I kind of liked those.. I felt less alone.
About Ordinators, or guards in general. I remember in Might and Magic 7, as I'd just acquired Castle Harmondale, being the new lords of the land, I expected I could give the city guards orders.. but all I ever got from them was "STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!" Or something similar, semi-threatening.
I remember I once thought if I played a dark elf, maybe they wouldn't recognize me as a foreigner, and the Ordinators would be nice to me, but noooo, it was all the same.
Edit: I never payed too much attention to those local rumors, but I remember I once found this Orc.. with this large sword, near Suran. Umbra I think? Dang that guy would either be super easy or rather difficult, depending on how he was dealt with. Which reminds me, I were doing temple quests on my latest play through, feeling pretty invincible, having 3 flame atronarch's as permanent summons and a couple of more powerful tricks if that didn't cut it. Anyway, I land at this statue, semi-ignoring 4 Orc's where I land.
What I do is that I land really close to them, but I summon my 3 guards, and then I proceed to talk to the statue. Big mistake, the Orc's quickly makes mincemeat out of my Atronarch's and suddenly I get hit really hard.. I freaking panic and start to simply run away.. 
Then I regroup, put on my 200-400 damage enchanted shield, up my enchant to 110 via some enchanted items I got on me, and I mass fire bolts of fire and ice at them, and they all fall.

Umbra was cool. I miss Umbra in Skyrim. It was in the previous two games. EBONY BLADE IS THERE, WHY NOT SIMPLY CALL THAT UMBRA. UMBRA IS A SOUL-STEALING SWORD MADE OF EBONY. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Dagoth Ur is dead, the Heart of Lorkan has been smashed to bits and I'm cleaning up some Fighter's Guild and Stronghold questing before I take off for mainland Morrowind. 
On CTDs: I've had Morrowind crash a couple times (including a few minutes ago, which is incidentally why I'm here posting and not playing ) and I have zero mods installed.
On House Dagoth: Wasn't it originally intended that you be able to join the Sixth House but it got dropped?

Final battle was probably the toughest; I actually died the first time riiiight after smashing the Heart. Second time I buffed first and didn't waste so much effort trying to incapacitate Dagoth Ur.
The broken quest I mentioned was one of the Redoran Hortator quests; the one where they send you to investigate the Caldera mine. I talked to the slave lady, she told me what I wanted to know, I thought 'hey, since she helped me out I should free her--you know, as a thank you.' So I picked up the key and let her go. Oops! Turns out that's part of the quest after this, and by completing it early I broke it. -_-' Load time!

The only thing I remember of the redoran hortator was that I had to fight some stuck up ass in the imperial arena in Vivec. I was glad for it, because my character knew how to fight people with swords. The telvanni duel wouldn't have been my cup of tea.

Oh right, I'd forgotten about the arena. I think there are 3 fights there, not as exciting as I'd hoped they'd be.
I thought the telvanni one was actually very easy, the guildmaster was very inclined to simply go straight at me with his staff.
Btw. have you tried the undead island downloadable content? It's free, and I liked a short quest where you get to attack a fort of undeads.

My mistake, I meant the mage guild archmaster. How did you take both Telvanni and Redoran quests?
