Back from a long journey of contemplation, I see.
*Wondering where the voice comes from, Gorman and Saruman look around, until they finally see the spirit hovering somewhere around the ceiling of the temple, which is filled with cobwebs and the dust of the ages.*
Long time no see, Saruman. Gorman must be really glad to have you back, seeing as he has been awfully lonely in here. The place has been completely dead, aside from the occasional madman who comes wondering in here for a few minutes. For some reason, they seem to be attracted to this place.
*Marelt Ekiran floats down to meet the both of them.*
I assume you know see that the goddesses don't care a thing anymore about this temple. They barge in for two minutes every few months or so, demand worship and then leave without giving a single thing in return. Heck, even the box-worshippers have left.
*Points at the box, which is covered with dust and has a sickly green fungus growing on it.*
See what I mean. Not very pleasant is it. Must have been caused by the continious rain that has been pouring down. It's still try in here, but that won't last long. I have already sensed leakage in the ceiling.

Man, this place has really toned down over time, it used to be absolutely exploding with ideas and conflict, man that was cRaZY.
How come nothing ever happens anymore? it's always just like in D&D when you're near the end of a campaign and the DM gets lazy and just makes a couple maps with no real storyline, or you're in a pub trying to get some excitement going, but the DM won't allow it because he wasn't expecting you to sock the half-orc wrestling champion in the jaw or what ever.
Something better happer or I'll have to eat th ceiling or something equaly disturbing/new.
As for worshipping gods, I never really got much out of that, asides from maybe that big spikey mace, so don't mention it.
But I think the problem is Oldtier's gone, god bless the old fart, he realy wrote some bizzare and wonderful things, everything realy just started to dissolve into nothing when he stopped writting about his knockers and knobs and suchlike, I wonder what he's doing now.
But, you "godesses" could decide to do something like make a couple proclemations or declaire gorman the prophet and he could make stuff up, then you could get mad at him and make him eat rocks or sand,
And that's why I left. And that's not why I came back. I came back for something else.

*Yawn* What a nice nap. Oh wait, I was yawning out of bordem...
]Offtopic: November 5th? By the gods this is moving slow. I guess no one cares anymore. Must be a plague, spreading throughout the Pyre...
Saruman wanders the empty halls, despairing at the state of the Temple and the city below.
The roof is leaking (And indead non-existant in some parts), all but a few remaining doomsayers are in the Temple and everything is covered in a thick layer of dust, which has sat there for so long it is developing consciousness.
"Hello? HEEEEEELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO?!?" he shouts.
"Doom has come! The godesses have departed! All is lost! Despair!!!"
"Shut up," says Saruman to the madman before zapping him to a far off country.
"I guess it's up to me," he says, as he trudges off towards the darkest levels of the Temple.

*In the meantime, Marelt has been peacefully sitting back and watching as the seas of boredom flow through the entire temple. Almost all colour has disappeared by now and sounds are also starting to get dimmer. Soon, this entire thing will fade away in the mists of time. When this time comes, his victory over the temple will be complete...*
*Until that time, Marelt has just decided to take up Microbiology as a hobby. Since the dark gloomy rain seeping down cracks and pores in the building combines well with the dirt and dust of ages, it creates a good medium for his fungus growing operations.*
'Did you come to take another look, Saruman? That's fine. Look as much as you want. You have infinite time to do so, until the infinity of time has swallowed this place into oblivion
